Hotel very convenient and nicely appointed. My room specifically had a queen bed instead of the king promised, and no overhead shower, only handheld - it was ADA compliant but i think most folks prefer both showerheads. Food in the garden cafe very expensive as is to be expected, but i was told i had a $15 credit which did not materialize on my invoice.

The staff and everything was great! I was surprised there was a destination fee. I didn’t mind the fee, but I saw Expedia had already charged me for that fee so I was confused on Why I had to pay for it again when I checked in

Bathroom too small and shower base was peeling and in need of repair. Couch in room had a stain on cushion. Had dinner in dining area and music blasted much too loud. When I requested it be lowered or eliminated, nothing was done although hostess made the request. Morning buffet was plentiful but needed greater attention as to "age" of scrambled eggs. I expected more from a Hyatt... particularly this being one of their premier sites.

The room was good, although there was some noise at night....I think it was the aircon systems, eventhough ours was off at night. The hot water didn't work for a day, but they fixed that quickly when reported, I was disappointed that they charged $4 per bag for holding on day of departure & arrival. For a family of 5, that was $100. First hotel I have been to where they charge to hold your bags.

Great location. It is walkable to a lot of attractions or you are very close to Grand Central station to use the subway to get anywhere.

Pros: The location is great. Most of the staff were friendly and helpful (with the exception of one rude receptionist). We were allowed early check-in and the room itself was spacious. Cons: The so-called “$15 market credit” felt more like a slap in the face than a perk. We were not told that the credit was per room rather than per person, and we only discovered this after seeing an unexpected extra charge on the room bill. With average market prices around $18 for a sandwich, the lack of clarity made the perk feel frustrating rather than enjoyable. One of the keys and the e-key on my phone didn’t work, which created a major inconvenience. On top of that, we were initially granted lounge access, only to later be told it was given “by mistake” and almost taken away. That kind of inconsistency is frustrating and unprofessional. The room itself felt outdated, and the fan was extremely loud and difficult to control, which affected comfort and sleep. Overall: The quality did not justify the price. While the location is great, the operational issues, misleading “perks,” and lack of consistency made the stay disappointing. For what you pay, there are much better options in the city. I would not stay here again.

Very small rooms with just fulls (not queen), tiny bathroom not even fit for a single person much less a couple or a family. Rude bell desk with bell hops acting like they are owed help or tips or both in return for rude service. redeeming quality is nice front desk and hosts. If I knew this, I would have paid judge a smidgen more more better accommodations
