As the name describes, our home is "The Lakeside Oasis". A newly built home overlooking the stunning Lake at Murrays Beach, this is the definition of relaxing, unwinding and resetting.

Our home has been beautifully furnished and curated with art pieces from all over the world. The owners of the home have gone to every effort to make sure every corner brings peace and tranquillity.

We are a company that does a lot of travelling so our best means of contact would be either through the app or please email us and my Team will respond as soon as possible!


Located on beautiful Lake Macquarie, The Lake House is an easy 90 min drive from Sydney and just 30 min drive from Newcastle. There are many local attractions and amenities for you to enjoy such as:

- 5 min drive to Swansea which has restaurants, cafes and supermarkets
- 5 min drive to Caves Beach which is perfect for a day of swimming and exploring
- 10 min drive to Catherine Hill Bay beaches
- Bush trails for walks and bike-rides which are great for exploring the local area
- 20 min drive to Charlestown Square Shopping Centre
- 5 min walk from the house is a local cafe that you can enjoy breakfast and lunch daily as well as dinner Friday and Saturday


Our home is the perfect place to wake up to the beautiful pristine lake views, enjoy a day of kayaking, complete with the perfect backyard and outdoor space to enjoy a BBQ with loved ones as the sunsets. The Lake House is everything you could possibly want to unwind and reset from the hustle and bustle of city life!

You will love your stay in this beautiful & custom-designed, 1 of a kind, stunning home. Nestled amongst extensive gardens that extend to the waters edge of Lake Macquarie at Murrays Beach, this designer home has a fully equipped kitchen, lounge-dining area completed with a beautiful gas fireplace in the middle and undercover BBQ area. Managed by Getawayz NSW, Superhosts and one of the most highly reviewed holiday rental agencies, The Lake House has views of and access to the waterfront of Lake Macquarie. This elegantly appointed home has multiple living areas, has a private bathroom for the master with a double shower, with quality products. The home comes with air-conditioning, smart TV's in both the living room and the master bedroom, gorgeous styling and is perfect for the family getaway!

The high set windows offer a truly architectural feel and the connection between indoor and outdoor living spaces flows seemingly. Both the living and kitchen areas flow onto the large balcony, as well as the master bedroom, and the second bedroom that can be set up as either a king or two singles (whichever you prefer).

With filtered lake glimpses that catch your eye in the afternoon sun, this is the perfect place for your family weekend getaway or extended vacation. We highly recommend a beer or champagne with the BBQ at sunset - there is nothing more tranquil!

You are also moments to the Murray's Restaurant for your morning coffee fix or lunch and dinner served Friday and Saturday night!

Just a short drive and you'll have access to local beaches such as Caves Beach and Catherine Hill Bay, and all the amenities of Swansea. Located close to all the Central Coast has to offer & within a short 1.5-hour drive from Sydney, we hope to welcome you soon.

HOUSE RULES
* Check-in: After 3:00 pm
* Checkout: 10:00 am
* No smoking
* No pets allowed
* No parties or events
* The home can accommodate up to 11 guests with the sofa bed upon request, with a fee of $140. Please let us know upon booking if this option is required.

ADDITIONAL RULES:
*As per the Short Term Legislation Act 2020 NSW, all guests are required to obey these rules. For extra guests/day visitors, we must be informed for liability purposes.

*To comply with local regulations, all guests are kindly asked to review and accept our booking Terms and Conditions in the Pre-arrival check-in form. For everyone’s security and peace of mind, we also require a valid ID and card details for a temporary pre-authorisation, which is held as a security deposit for the duration of your stay.

*This is a no-party property. We do not allow parties/events of any sort. The maximum amount of guests allowed to sleep in this property is ELEVEN people, however, we do allow day visitors of up to FIVE people. No more than a maximum of SIXTEEN people are allowed in the property at any given time.

*Only the guests staying at the property are permitted to be present. If you wish to have visitors in addition to booked guests, you must advise us in writing prior to your stay and ensure you receive written permission.

*This home is a strictly no-smoking property. If any of our cleaners find any form of cigarette ash, butts or smell cigarettes in the apartment, we could issue a $500 fine.

*Whilst we want you to have fun and enjoy your stay, please be aware of the impact your noise and music may have on neighbours and our strict NO PARTY POLICY. Noise and music should not impact any other surrounding property and we ask that you keep it to a level that does not travel to other properties. 

*Please be aware that surrounding residents who believe they are being adversely affected by your noise and music have the right to complain to Getawayz NSW or the Police. We take any complaint about noise or music very seriously as it has the potential to impact the future availability of the holiday home for rental. There is a noise monitor installed on the outside balcony and a noise complaint to Getawayz or the Police may result in your eviction from the property and additional charge.

*STRA Rules - By booking this home you automatically agree to all the STRA terms and conditions that are applicable to guests. You also agree that if you do break any of the house rules you will be asked to leave and no refund of the unused nightly rates will be returned.

*Check-in/Check-out - We cannot stress enough the importance of checking out on time. Our regular check-in time is after 3 pm and check-out time is before to 10 am. If you wish to have an earlier check-in or later check-out, please reach out to us first. Please note, there may be a charge.

*POOL RULE: Strictly no glasses in or around the pool! We’ve provided nice plastic wine glasses and cups for you to use and enjoy a drink while around the pool.

*Changing of Dates Terms & Conditions
- Requests to change booking dates may only be accommodated if check-in is more than 1 month away.
- This is subject to approval and we reserve the right to decline any requests.
- Please note that there may be a surcharge to change the dates.
- Any changes to bookings are subject to approval and we ask all guests to reach out to us first.

THINGS TO KNOW:
* This property is suitable for babies or children. Items such as cots and high-chairs we do not supply, however, you are welcome to bring these yourself to the property.


* Checkin details will be sent either the night before checking in, or the morning of check-in for security reasons.

* The King Bedroom upstairs has the option to be converted into two single beds. When booking, can you please let us know which configuration you are after (one king, or two single beds) so we can let our housekeepers know which is best for you and your family's needs!

*There are 2 kayaks for guests to use, providing fun for all the family. These are kept in the garage and are displayed in our first photo!

*Pool towels are not provided and we recommend bringing your own.

* We only provide 1 set of keys for each stay. We do not have extra sets.

*If you are in need of beach towels for your stay, we can provide them to you for a fee of $20 per towel. Just let us know how many towels you will be needing and we can get this organised before your stay!

Our Best Yet!!

We have been going away for a long weekend with the family for 11 years and this was voted our best yet. Location was a little remote in terms of walking distance to shops etc but spectacular. The house was beautifully equipped and decorated both inside and out. The pool was fabulous and well used by all and the kayaks just added to our family fun. Thanks so much and we would love to come again. 5 stars all round.

Awesome Lakeside House

Spent 10 days with the family at this awesome house overlooking Lake Macquarie, in a great eco-development. House was super well equipped and so much space. Spent many hours just sitting on the balcony watching the world go by, and when not doing that kayaking on the lake or going for local walks. Property also close to great Beaches, as well as Newcastle and the Hunter Valley. Will definitely be back.
