SWIMMING
A 600-foot public swimming beach is located on the northwest side of the lake. Facilities include a bathhouse with changing booths and showers.

BOATING
Boats with motors up to 9.9 horsepower are permitted on the lake. Launching ramps and seasonal dock rentals are available. Boat rentals are available from a privately-owned marina on the south side of the lake.

FISHING
Good catches of bass, bluegill, crappie and channel catfish can be taken at Guilford Lake. A valid Ohio fishing license is required.

PICNICKING
Shaded picnic areas with tables and grills are located at various points around the lake. A shelterhouse is available on a first-come, first-served basis.

BIKING AND HIKING
Beaver Creek State Park Excellent trails for biking and hiking.

AREA ATTRACTIONS
Two public golf courses (9-hole and 18-hole) are located near the park. Eight miles south of Lisbon on State Route 518, a Confederate monument commemorates the surrender of General John Hunt Morgan to Union forces on July 26, 1863.

Zepernick Lake State Wildlife Area, east of the park on State Route 172, offers public hunting and fishing. Yellow Creek State Forest, off State Route 39, offers hunting and hiking opportunities.

The Professional Football Hall of Fame is located in Canton, 23 miles west of the park off I-77 at Exit 24. For more information of area attractions, call the Ohio Division of Travel and Tourism at 1-800-Buckeye.

Mark’s Landing on the lake
The patio overlooks beautiful Guilford Lake providing relaxing evenings for family and friends.  The menu today has kept the "whopping" fish sandwich while adding many other seafood items, as well as steaks, pasta, pizza, and a large assortment of sandwiches.

West Branch Alum dance.

We were delighted with our cabin and had a very wonderful time. Our brother and his wife came to the cabin after we had dinner at Mark's Landing on Friday. My sister and I loved sitting on the porch watching the Lake activities.We went to the Alumni dance Saturday night. The driveway was a bit of a challenge as I don't have all wheel drive anymore but we managed.

My wife and enjoy the cozy atmosphere of the fish cabin, and living 1,000 miles away from my home town, this place fits the bill to the tee. The host are amazing, accommodating, and bery welcoming. They have put together an amazing get away place for there tenants.

Fishing cabin with a lakeview

Quaint fishing cabin. Sleeps 6 but perfect for two. Great Anniversary getaway. Lakeview is stunning. Hosts were lovely to work with. We stayed in the queen bunk bed on the first floor. Felt like we were at camp. Beds super comfy.

Perfect little cabin

The boys stayed here to do some deer hunting in Lisbon. The location was perfect and the cabin was comfortable for them. Having the washer and dryer made this a perfect fit for what they needed. Aimee made sure they had what they needed and checked in to see if they needed anything. They enjoyed their stay! Thank you!

Amazing!

Excellent hosts! The pictures do this place no justice, it way exceeded our expectations! I can’t wait to come back when it’s snowy. I already miss the smell of cedar! I highly recommend the Spread Eagle Tavern for some history and a nice candle lit dinner! Perfect little getaway!

needed time off

Very nice place to stay for a short get away or a long vacation. This was our second time to stay. The only complaint would be the driveway other than that,..it is a perfect place to stay.

Amazing stay at this cabin

My wife and I had an amazing stay at this cabin; it was the perfect size for us! It was right on the water, the view was fabulous! Just sitting outside on the porch watching the boats was so relaxing. The host’s Amiee and Jerry are so nice! HIGHLY recommended!

Lovely cozy cabin

Great little cabin for a small group or couple. Everything one needs is there. Definitely not a standard rental, updated finishes throughout are appreciated. Nice lake view as well. Three minute walk across the street and you can be fishing! Only issue one may have is with parking. Gravel drive up is fairly steep (and steep to walk down) and parking behind leaves one having to walk down a fairly steep little hill. Overall great place though. Super place for a Guilford Lake getaway! Owners wonderful to deal with.

Nice lil cabin in a wonderful area

We absolutely loved everything about this cabin. It was close to everything. This cabin has a lot to offer from games to play with kids, cornhole boards, kayaks, gas grill and washer/dryer. We stayed outside most of the time playing cornhole, grilling and just relaxing by the fire. We even used the pokers to make s’mores. We can’t wait to go back again.

Great trip

Very impressive set up. Plenty to do. Away from city which is perfect for us. Cooked Cajun gumbo. Stove and accessories are perfect. Beds great. Couldn’t ask for anything better.

cozy cabin
