I was asked to pay $29 for a “ continental” breakfast for 2. Thinking it was going to be a great breakfast…. When I went to get breakfast, the breakfast sandwiches were the size of silver dollars, nothing fresh. Cups of cereal. When I asked the front desk how it worked, since I paid, they said I was allowed 2 items and a tea or coffee… I took a juice. I did make a bagel, but my pooch enjoyed it more than I did. Husband didn’t even eat anything because he was so disappointed. He only had a juice. Place was great, just not the breakfast.

I discovered a roach in my room during my stay and immediately reported it to the front desk. I was transferred to another room, which I appreciated. However, the incident left me alarmed and unable to rest for the remainder of the night. The disruption impacted the quality of my stay.

The front desk clerk.... She put us in a room without a balcony even though we payed for a balcony room and talked about it at check in. When we came down to talk about it with Trey... another aasociate... he assisted us. He helpd us with the balcony room. She camr back and seen us there and asked Trey what happened. He said they were not put in a balcony and she said oh.... no apolgies.

Booked this months ago for an anniversary trip with the impression or hot tub working, when we checked in we were advised it had been broken for over a month. We let it go. That night after coming back from dinner we wanted to relax and watch a movie/show. Tv was not working we called front desk and they said “that happens we can’t do anything”

The bedsheets were dirty, the pool did not look clean it looked greasy and there was scum around it. the Jacuzzi was brocken and there was nothing that said it on the website. the breakfast is not actually breakfast. It was not worth it at all. the rooms look nothing like the website at all. Save your money and go to the marriott in newport instead i regret choosing this one.
