A very quaint, unique property centrally located. We stayed in the urban beach house which was very nice with the exception of the noise level from the other rooms which cannot be mitigated in an older building.

Loved the Attwater

We really enjoyed our stay at the Attwater. The hotel is in a quiet, more residential part of Newport. We arrived the day after Labor Day and were upgraded to a suite on the third floor - it was like having our own apartment. All of the staff were very helpful - Brandy knows Newport well and gave us a lot of helpful info. At her suggestion we went over to Third Beach in Middletown and nearby Sachuest Point Wildlife Refuge, a gorgeous spot to walk and see goldfinches. We will return!

Good Base for Exploring Newport

Nice small hotel in excellent location. Minimal interaction with staff, so nothing to report there. Could use more places to sit within the gereously-sized room we were in.
