Garden Oasis is located at North Coast Village, an oceanfront tropical paradise between the Oceanside Harbor and the Oceanside Pier, and is a favorite destination for vacationers from around the world. You'll enjoy the beautiful waterfalls, streams, lagoon-style year-round heated pool and spa, putting green, exercise rooms, saunas, and recreation rooms with table tennis, billiards, and Foosball.

The complex consists of nine four-story buildings surrounded by two-story cottages, on several acres of lushly landscaped tropical grounds. You are just steps from the sand; there are no roads to cross-this is an OCEANFRONT COMPLEX! The Mainstreet Oceanside Farmer's Market is a delightful experience near the Pier which takes place every Thursday from 9-1, and and the Sunset Market Thursday evenings from 5-9.

Comfortable condo. Loved the pool and hot tub. Good location within walking distance to many restaurants and coffee shops. Need to update photos on the listing - there is no hand-held shower in either bathroom, just fixed shower heads. Also, refrigerated shows water/ice despenser but they are NOT connected or functioning. We had a lovely stay with our friends and would return to this property.

Loved this place and how close it is to the beach (walking through the property and you’re there). Also this beach is great for teens and little kids. Grounds are unbelievably beautiful, pool is warm annd hot tub annd other anmen are great and we loved our stay. We will stay here again!

NEGLECTED Property and HORRIBLE property manager

I traveled w my 84 yo mom w Alzheimer's and my daughter w Down Syndrome. I asked the ppty manager for a late check out Monday due to a late night activity on Sunday. Unable to accommodate us, I purchased another night and we were greeted with scheduled loud construction on Monday and Tuesday morning. Fireman entered our apartment while we slept for scheduled am visit the morning we arrived! We had no water for 2 of our 5 days from 9am to noon. We had no notice and had to attend a graduation without showering!! No amenities were provided aside from 2 personal bars of soap and cleaning products. No salt, pepper, shampoo, conditioner . No safe pots or pans. There was early morning LOUD construction on 2 of the mornings until 3pm. There is laundry downstairs requires apps and forced amounts to load cards that are not refundable. There no laundry soap, even for purchase, in the building G but after searching and calling security they said to walk to building B to purchase soap with laundry and folks. The unit was clean and outdated but in disrepair. There were many missing window slats that disallowed darkened rooms or privacy. Manager tried to fix the slats and replace a battery on a broken clock. The slats failed as I explained that some were broken but the track mechanism itself was broken so the slats could not be hung. Switches were broken. I asked for a discount and was offered 12 off daily after arguing that was not extended. Manager has numerous condos there shocking!
Scheduled maintenance with jack hammering, sawing, hammering below us on 2 of the days we were there.

Met Our Needs

The weather both benefited our stay and hurt it. The complex has a nice pool, hot tubs, and close proximity to the beach, but it was cool and raining most of our stay that we could not really take advantage of those perks much. However, the cooler weather was a blessing in that the condo does not have air conditioning. It was quite warm inside even with the outside temps in the 50s and 60s. Would have certainly wanted AC if it was even in the 70s.

Amazing stay on the Pacific Ocean

Clean and comfortable condo in a secure and quiet resort. The entire property was also very clean. The kids loved the pool and hot tub. The owner of this unit provided beach toys, towels, chairs and coolers making our stay just perfect. Lots to do within walking distance. Short drive to the San Diego Zoo and outlets for shopping. We would love to return and stay in this exact unit again.

North Coast paradise

The complex grounds are a little paradise: flowers, shade, running streams, walking pathways. It’s just lovely and so convenient to the beach, pier, and harbor. We love staying here. This unit is so nice and roomy.

It was nice, but could have been better.

The condo and location was nice. All the surrounding plants were absolutely beautiful. Great place to take your family. I did have a few concerns which I mentioned to leasing agent. Black mold, tub stopper didn't work, fireplace didn't work, shower head sprayed water everywhere, paint chipping and rusting vents, rusted light fixture, non working closet light. I was most concerned about chipping pain because it was at perfect hight of my toddler who I found it before I did and was picking and eating it. They did send someone to replace tub stop and fix shower. They entered the condo with their own keys, did not let me know they were coming, did not knock or announce themselves in anyway. Just came in, I just just finished bathing and was in my underwear doing my daughters hair. Which was very uncomfortable, then wanted to come back again the next day to do repairs but I asked for them not to interrupt my stay again. They respected that.

This place was perfect for our needs. It was clean and had everything we needed to make an enjoyable vacation. The beds were very comfortable and the bedding was high quality. Most of this unit has been updated. Like others have reviewed, the carpet looks old and very worn but it was still clean.

Great place

We were in town for the Carlsbad Marathon. This place was close(about 5 miles) from the start/finish. Oceanside is a clean, quaint town. We enjoyed the hot tub and pool and walking along the beach.

Hidden paradise

This place was great! Couldn’t tell from the outside but the inner courtyard was amazing. Flowers, trees, the river and waterfalls and animals made it feel like a tropical oasis. The amenities were awesome. Lots to do without even leaving the property. The unit was very nice and spacious. Plenty of furniture and everything was very comfortable including the beds. Everything was clean and well stocked. We had a very relaxing stay and would definitely stay here again and recommend to friends.

We enjoyed our stay at this condo; North Coast Village is our favorite, and this condo was near the center of the complex overlooking lush landscaping and water features. The condo was clean, the beds very comfortable, and the living/dining room furniture had plenty of seating. Cozy condo, perfect for relaxing after a long day at the beach/ in town. Our family enjoyed our stay.

Great getaway!

We had a great stay in G200 as first-timers at North Coast Village. The unit was warm and welcoming, albeit a little outdated, with comfortable beds, two bathrooms, a relaxing livingroom and kitchen and a small patio with a view of the lush complex. The pictures are accurate. It's a bit tricky to figure out the complex at first but once figured out, it makes for a nice walk to the wonderful beach and pool. Covered and easy access parking was welcomed. A great stay for myself, husband and adult daughter.

Great time staying by the beach with family!

The first few days were hot and muggy with there being no A/C but I’ve stayed at NCV for years and have never needed AC so I think it was just a fluke with the tropical storm. The property manager was great at responding and getting us fans to cool off the unit. Overall it was a good trip and the unit was fine!

Total confusion

I guess we were not prepared to be walking all over the place to get to our location. It was not for us, especially with two small children. The place was clean, but the carpet was not vacuumed cleaned and one of the tubs was clogged. Other than that, it's a nice villa.
