People and service nice. Cost of breakfast offered not worth it, should be free. Too much construction a lot of noices and debris. Should of had accomiations away from construction we had work going on in the room next door and it was noisy all day long.

The Sono Hotel on International Drive (it’s more of a motel) is a good value for short stays. I’d recommend it if you’re in town for a night or two. After four nights, though, its limitations became clear. Staff was friendly and helpful. We had to switch rooms on arrival due to issues with the AC, TV, and door. The second room also had AC trouble. Staff offered to move us again, but I asked if it could be repaired instead. They fixed it, and we stayed the full four nights. Still, I expect more attention to detail when I prepay for a multi-night stay. Either we were unlucky, or many rooms have similar small issues. It's inconvenient to move all your things more than once. Also worth noting: this is one of those hotels that hits you with an extra “resort fee” at check-in—$10 per night—even if you prepaid. It wasn’t listed on their site or on Travelocity. I come to Orlando often, and this kind of surprise charge feels shady and inconsiderate, especially for families on a tight budget. I’ve filed a pricing dispute with Travelocity. Overall, I wouldn’t return for a long stay, but I’d consider it again for a last-minute overnight after an event.

La limpieza del cuarto si no la solicitas, no la hacen. Las toallas las tienes que buscar en el front desk. La segunda noche se subió una cucaracha a la cama. Salió de abajo de la cama. Solicitamos limpieza del cuarto y cambio de sábanas y la persona del front desk me dijo que solicitaría una limpieza profunda, pero el piso seguirá igual de sucio, por lo que entiendo que no fue como lo solicitaron. El hotel requiere renovación general. Aunque el baño está renovado, no estaba muy limpio. Definitivamente no volvería.

I booked this hotel primarily for its affordability, but unfortunately, I got what I paid for. The property was run down. Upon entering my room, I was struck by how unappealing it looked. The fridge was rusted on the outside, and the flimsy interior racks made it unusable. I also had a microwave that I didn't use, so I can't comment on that. The shower was dirty and had a broken fixture, which made me uncomfortable; I even wore flip-flops to avoid any risk of foot fungus. Additionally, the toilet had flushing issues, and I encountered a roach in my room smh. Overall, it was quite a mess. On a positive note, the pool was clean, but the hot tub was disappointingly small and at the same temperature as the pool, which meant it wasn't hot at all. I have no complaints about the staff; they were friendly and helpful. However, I cannot recommend this hotel. Thankfully, I wasn’t in my room often, but I urge others to look elsewhere. It was not a pleasant experience.

It was dirty. The sheets were dusty. The room smelled really bad. The bathroom wasn’t very clean. The hallways leading to the room were full of dust and cement. The air conditioner was dirty and broken. It was a horrible experience. I’m never going back to that hotel, and I’m not going to recommend it either. The only good thing was the breakfast. Nothing else.

This was the worst hotel I’ve ever stayed at in Orlando , the ac in the room did not work the room was disgusting , we called the front desk so many times and never got an answer when we did they sent someone who didn’t speak English or fix the problem, they did not offer to switch our room or anything . We had to go out and buy a fan from Walmart so that we wouldn’t be uncomfortable without ac . The staff was rude like I said this place is gross DO NOT STAY .

The property had a note on the door that the property was being renovated. Low and behold, I get a room directly next to a room being renovated. When I went to check in, there was a language barrier, but we got through that. We go into our room and ready to jump in bed and there was a pile of pubic hair in one of the beds and food smeared on the other. I went to the front desk to ask for clean linen, but since he couldn't understand me, security had to translate. The clerk kind of chuckled and asked "switch rooms?" I said sure, but he took me to the linen closet and gave me a single set of linen. We took a sheet for each and used it to lay over the bed. We didn't even get to use a blanket or pillows because we were too scared. We was too tired to try to see about doing anything else and figured he wouldn't understand any ways.
