Hotel is really close to Osaka Castle. The view is amazing with the room that we got. Originally we were booked on the other side of the hotel but upon request to upgrade the room to a Osaka castle view, the receptionist was able to accommodate my request.

My stay at the Hotel New Otani Osaka was a pleasure in every regard. My room was comfortable, the staff was pleasant and helpful in every way, and my breakfast was excellent. Train connections around the city from the hotel are easy, and at the end of a long day in a hectic city, the hotel is great place to return to. In fact, I look forward to returning there soon. (My only question is related to when the lobby lounge in the hotel is actually open.)
