L'hĂŽtel est trĂšs bien situĂ© en centre-ville et calme. Par contre, la rĂ©ception est quasi inexistante (Ă  part pour remettre les clĂ©s Ă  votre arrivĂ©e) et aucun service additionnel (pas de sĂšche-cheveux). 2 dosettes de cafĂ© fournies avec la bouilloire pour 3 nuits rĂ©servĂ©es. Le mĂ©nage n'a pas Ă©tĂ© fait pendant mon sĂ©jour (pas mĂȘme le lit). Le Wifi ne fonctionne pas dans les chambres situĂ©es tout en haut comme c'Ă©tait mon cas.

Hotel de gare d'autobus au centre d'Oxford

Il faut trouver la personne responsable au bar de l'hĂŽtel. Il n'y a pas de rĂ©ception et rejoindre une personne responsable est quasi impossible. L'hĂŽtel est en renovation et on au demander un solvant pour enlever la peinture de nos vĂȘtements. Je pense que les propriĂ©taires devraient finir les travaux avant d'accepter des clients.

good location

this hotel is a bit rundown to say the least. its perfect for location, and for our needs of a night at the theatre next door, ideal. i would not stay there any longer, the place is a generous 3 star!!

Grimy old hotel

A grimy old little hotel - some of it is to do with the building and property, but lots is just to do with not-caring: they could clean it better and spruce it up easily - but they don’t bother. The rooms are also accessed with a code (not a key) which seems like it is never changed. The reception says it is open all day but it took 15 minutes of phoning and buzzing to get into the property.

Comfy bed, well situated for the bus station and bus stops. walking into town 10 minutes only. On street parking seemed to be permit only! go to Redbridge park and ride and leave your car there. the bus stops outside!. take earplugs because the music plays till 1.00am ish Hotel could do with refurbishing but for one or 2 nights amd at the price it was worth it

Duschen var helt hopplös att anvÀnda, antingen kokhett eller iskallt vatten. Ingenstans att hÀnga handdukar, enda hyllan i badrummet var extremt lÄg, en dryg decimeter ovanför golvet. Ingen toapappershÄllare heller. Rummet var stort och rent, men det var varmt och fönstren gick inte att öppna. Det fanns en flÀkt men det var ÀndÄ för varmt. För en natt var det okej men inte lÀngre vistelse.

The place was dirty, there was paint peeling off the walls damp patches, wholes in the walls, rips in the carpet, plastic covering a window, no hot water from the tap so had to shave with cold water. No plug in the sink, screw showing through shower door, shower floor uneven. No reception on the television. Plug sockets and electrical wiring looked passed it’s bed. Very Noisy

You cannot be at the location. It is close to everything. Situated literally next to the bus station, it has a wide range of amenities nearby. It is just a few minutes walk to all of the major attractions in Oxford. The staff is very kind and friendly, even if they don’t know a lot about running hotels and making beds. They are extremely responsive to any needs. Try to not think of this as much as a hotel as a really comfortable and quiet hostel. Try and get a room on the top floor if possible, as the nine nights, we spent there, almost every night above us was a reenactment of Riverdance, including sometimes people Cooking and bringing in a lot of very stinky food. That is against the rules, however. Although it is right above a bar, it is not very loud, except on Friday, and the music turns off at 1 AM. This was not a problem for us, as we were exhausted from travel. Some of the rooms have en suite bathrooms, and those are nice. Some have shared bathrooms. Be sure that you know what do you want. While this is an expensive hotel, it is much cheaper than the other hotels in the area. Be sure that you can walk up four or so flights of stairs to get to any of the rooms. If so, it is a place to stay.

Fan blew out dust, mold on the ceiling in the bathroom, stains on all carpets throughout the building. It smelled of sewage as soon as you walked into the building and in the reception area. The window ledge was chipped and unclean. All walls were marked and chipped too. Claims on street parking and there is none. Definitely not worth the price.

Filthy dirty through out

Absolutely disgusting filthy dirty hotel , do not go . Bathrooms on both our rooms had significant amounts of mould on the walls and ceiling . No lampshades on the ceiling lights - only exposed bulbs hanging from the ceiling , again in both rooms. Paint peeling off the wall in the bathroom. Toilet seats didn’t fit the toilets . The hot water tap only ran cold water . The shower kept changing from hot to cold. In our room the wardrobe has no back or top on it . Both rooms had an arm chair with dubious stains on them. We had to move the kettle and put it on the floor to plug it in to an extension cable . We had enough coffe for 2 cups of coffee even though we had booked 2 nights for 3 people in one of the rooms . There was an inch gap under the room door . One of the rooms , the main bedroom door , which is a fire door , the specific returner device had obviously been broken just leaving the arm and the device had not been replaced - this is a fire risk. The walls in the rooms and all the way down the stairs has dirt marks all over them . The hall and stairs carpets were filthy with large stains and ground on dirt . The door numbers on some of the rooms were written on the doors with a sharpie ! We saw one guy once when we checked in on the reception desk . He gave us the codes to the door and then we never saw anyone again to try and address the issues . The noise and music from the bar below can be heard very clearly in the rooms until about 1am.

There were no elevators so had to carry up large suitcases, and also no bathrooms in your room. Had to go down a floor to get to them and it was disgusting in the morning. Completely unclean.

Aweful place. Save yourself!

Aweful hotel. Pictures are very misleading. The room is Super tiny with no place to put your suitcase. The walls a very thin so you can hear everything including the doir shutting.

This is not a hotel, The only aspect that was in it's favour was it's location. The room was dirty and the bathroom had mould on the ceiling. It's a multi-occupany type establishment rather than a hotel. We could have stayed at a hostel and had a more enjoyable experience. No dining , concierge non -existant- Unsafe area at night.

Disappointed with this hotel as the room was classed as Deluxe, but in reality it is a bit dismal, smells of cigarette smoke, filthy windows, but no view anyway. The TV when switched on was smashed, and luckily the guy on reception was able to replace this. Bed was comfy. Due to being located above a late night bar. The place was noisy with music thudding away. But due to the city being very busy, most hotels were well over my budget, so needs must

Property is sorely in need of an update. We stayed here 7 years ago and it appeared that nothing had been updated since then or even maintained adequately. Stairway carpet was dirty; probably the room carpet as well--coloring of carpet made it difficult to tell. Bathroom had no place to set toiletries; handsoap container was empty.

You get what you pay for. Above a bar, so loud, and no lift, so going up two flights or more of stairs with luggage. But in city center, so that adds a lot of value. Staff was basically not there. Again, you get what you pay for.
