Nice hotel with great spa

Spa was amazing, worth booking. The finer details like the sparkling water were also a nice treat. Location and hotel were nice. Toilet door didn't lock and didn't stay shut which was unfortunate and some of the lights didn't turn on but there was still plenty of light

Great stay!!

The location of the store is terrific and there are nice little touches throughout. We particularly enjoyed the thermal area, restaurant and bar lounge near the reception. The ladder is a great people watching spot. The service was uniformly, super friendly and always helpful. If you are not familiar with Oxford, as we were not, please note that a lot of of the roads around the hotel Are pedestrian only, and Waze did not fully appreciate that. The porter came to our rescue and helped us navigate things.

Could not have had a nicer stay. The staff are very friendly and helpful. The spa facilities are a nice added touch. The room was a nice size and very quite considering how close you are to the middle of Oxford.

What an amazing hotel, public areas are very nice, room was lovely. Very clean, high quality, very comfy and top quality. Dinner was fabulous and breakfast was very good as well. You can't really expect more. I'll definitely come back.

Impressive soundproofing

Oxford is beautiful because it is old but often that means the buildings have thin walls and difficult to heat. This new hotel is a welcome change - toasty and quiet. Ideal location for acess to major bus routes and the university. Lovely staff as well!

From the moment we arrived at The Store, we were impressed by the outstanding service. The staff went above and beyond to ensure our stay was memorable, making us feel welcome and well cared for. Our room was incredibly spacious and thoughtfully designed, with a bed that was exceptionally comfortable. During our stay, we had the pleasure of dining at the hotel’s restaurant, and we also ordered room service. Both experiences were top-notch, with delicious food and impeccable service. The attention to detail was evident in every aspect of our meals. Do not miss the chicken pie! The hotel’s location is ideal, right in the heart of the city center. It's the perfect base for exploring all that the area has to offer, with shops, restaurants, and attractions just a short walk away. My daughter was starting a study abroad program and we were able to find everything she needed to get started. Overall, The Store provided a luxurious and relaxing experience; we couldn’t have asked for a better place to stay. We highly recommend it to anyone visiting the area! I will definitely plan on staying here again next time I visit.

I stayed one night with my dog and we were so well looked after that I didn’t want to leave! The hotel is really beautiful and the location is perfect. We took the bus from the park and ride and it stopped right outside. The staff were friendly. Our room was gorgeous, with its own private terrace overlooking the Oxford skyline. This hotel is also really welcoming to dogs. There was a bed, bowls and welcome box waiting. I was able to bring the dog to the bar/lounge area to have dinner and drinks. The room itself was comfortable, nice bed linen, big fluffy towels, a good shower and complimentary treats in the room that I wasn’t expecting. I can’t recommend this hotel enough and I will be back!
