The property is obviously very dated, however, the front desk staff, especially Chad were more than accommodating. The beach outside was kept really clean and the pool was clean. Not much to this place but perfect for a 2-3 day getaway.

Not as great as it appears

The staff at the hotel are friendly and wonderful. The room is much older than appears. There are barely any outlets in the rooms, no extension cords. Minimal towels, plate/glasses. There was no hair dryer but I was able to request one.

I loved that the beach was right there, the pool was nice, staff was so nice and accommodating. I didnt like that the trash barrel in the room was so small. I didn't like that the towel rack was broken. Otherwise it is a great location, i will definitely be back!

Maybe the rooms in the main building would have been better. however, I purchased a suite, balcony, ocean view thinking it would be an upgrade over a guestroom. all we got for a three day stay was two towels, one roll of toilet paper, two very flat pillows, and no shampoo. It was fine, but a little disappointing, considering what we paid.

We were looking for an affordable way to stay in West Palm with a quick walk to the beach, and this definitely checked those boxes. Online photos make the hotel seem a bit nicer than it is, but considering the price of the Ambassador compared to others in the area, it's a great deal. Rooms have a full kitchen and are only serviced every three days, so think of it like a mix between a hotel and a mid-quality Airbnb. We met some folks whose A/C didn't work but we didn't have any issues with basic needs, cleanliness, anything like that. Hotel staff were outstanding. Pool and beach areas were never crowded. All told, it's such a nice area with so much to do and so close to the beach that we were just glad to be able to afford it.

I loved the location of this property and its proximity to the beach. We could literally hear the sounds of the waves crashing on the beach and see the ocean from our unit. The staff was friendly. We enjoyed the breakfast, and our unit was very spacious. We will definitely be back again

Great beachfront location. Easy free on-site parking. Hotel is very dated and appears to be mostly residential. Breakfast was well stocked. Few lounge chairs on the beach, but free. Could not find beach towels or pool towels most days. Sheets were old and uncomfortable. Did not receive room service cleaning of any kind during our five day stay. No fresh towels, unless requested at front desk. Restaurant food was good, but overpriced and unappealing atmosphere.

Very disappointed with this property. Run down shabby chic is not what was advertised. Rooms were filthy, outdated and the beachfront/ ocean view was quite literally the worst I’ve ever paid for which was not cheap. Asked to speak with a manager but never heard back. Desk staff was incredibly under qualified and that’s saying something. At one point when yet another thing was broken or not working, his response was, “I really want these TVs to work, because I ( referring to himself) deserve to work at a hotel where the TVs actually work. Plan to speak with Expedia and my credit card company. Buyer beware.
