The Neighborhood:
In the very heart of Paris, the streets around the ChĂątelet and Les Halles have been a hub of Parisian life since the Middle Ages. Rue de la Ferronnerie itself is one of the oldest streets in the city, running alongside the former central market of Paris and connecting ChĂątelet to the Centre Pompidou area. The neighbourhood today is one of the most central and well-connected in the capital, with a constant stream of life, excellent shops and restaurants, and easy access to some of the city's greatest attractions.
Wi-Fi may occasionally be affected by area-wide connectivity issues. Please note a noise monitoring device is installed at the property entrance for extra security and to ensure the peace of the property. This device is not located in any sleeping area or bathroom. Photos are as accurate as possible â minor updates may not always be reflected immediately. Management may occasionally need access to the property for inspection, maintenance or viewings (between 8:00 AM and 7:00 PM with reasonable notice). In genuine emergencies, access may be required without prior notice. Weâll always communicate as much as possible and be respectful of your stay.
Interaction with Guests:
You will have the property all to yourself during your stay. We are available by email phone should you require assistance during your stay.
Minimally equipped; very awkward bathroom/toilet facilities, normal items like toilet paper not supplied, certainly nothing else; ancient/unworkable coffee maker, otherwise a decent, clean room. Read the listing carefully: it's actually a 7 story walk-up with narrow stairs. No problem if you're young enough but gets annoying. Location is central and convenient although not in a neighborhood if charming Paris is what you're looking for. It's owned/run as a made-for-VRBO use.
I thought the host was chintzy. I only got ONE roll of toilet paper. There was no laundry soap and no coffeeâŠThat being said, the video on how to get to the apartment was helpful, and the communication stellar. However, the cheap tactics noted above is what brought the rating down.
Host is very responsive, room was clean, Shower area and sink were small and hard to use. But location is excellent! Centrally located and very close to metro stops. We still have not received our deposit back. they said 14 days but not sure why it takes that long.
We had a great stay in a very eclectic neighborhood! Near the metro and everything in walking distance. Host responded to all questions quickly. Apartment was comfortable for 2 people .
A comfortable and nice place to stay with a great central location. The apartment is strategically positioned, making it easy to connect with all means of transport. The furniture is impressive, and the views from the windows add a special touch. Despite the compact space, itâs well-equipped with everything you need for cooking. Overall, it's a fantastic spot for anyone looking to stay in a convenient and well-furnished place.
