5 day trip to Bali. I stayed in Uluwatu for 1 day to experience the high end resort - Anantara Uluwatu. Room Type - Anantara Pool Suite Positives: 1. Resort - 10/10 - Excellent place. Huge resort with incredible views, Definitely what you are looking for in Uluwatu. 2. Location - 10/10 - For us it was central. We had to visit the Uluwatu temple which was 15 mins grab ride and Savaya Club which was 20 mins grab ride. You will have no issues in finding grab from here. Also lots of restaurants on the main road. 3. Room - 10/10 - Clean and comfortable. Very spacious. 4. Bathroom - 8/10 - Clean and spacious. However, there was some kind of stink, which went out after they refreshed the room for the night. 5. Staff - 8/10 - Very friendly, smiling. However, if I link this to the service, which is below, then they need to improve. Negatives: 1. Service - 2/10 - Couple of items. I compare it with my other hotel stays in Bali which were maybe 1/4 the price but had 11/10 service. - SPA Service - I was there for 1 night. I came in early so we could enjoy the resort. At the time of check-in we requested for SPA service to be booked which the receptionist confirmed. When we went to the SPA at our time, the SPA lady said, there is no booking, we cannot accomodate. The staff didn't do much make for it. - Housekeeping - Iron - at night I called for iron and iron board. I called maybe 4 times to remind them. Is it value for money? For the service and price, No.

Wonderful stay!

We had a wonderful stay at Anantara. My husband sadly got bali belly during the trip and the staff was so accommodating and kind. The rooms were beautiful and spacious with gorgeous views throughout the resort. The breakfast buffet was incredible with a lot of variety. We will definitely be back!

This hotel was incredible. Every single staff was helpful, friendly, kind. Easily walkable into Uluwatu main area for amazing shops and restaurants. Food at the hotel was delicious. Breakfast buffet was perfect. Beachside restaurant was our favourite. Beds were firm but comfortable. One of our favourite hotels we have ever stayed at.

Nice property with a lovely staff. Ocean view rooms have a great view and rooms are quite large. Spa and bathrooms are a bit dated though. Getting to the beach is a climbing extravaganza, so you will get in shape!
