Cortijocabrill Located between the beach and the mountain. Ideal for families and groups

Cortijo Cabrilla is an old farmhouse located inside a farm of olive trees and ancient carob trees and fruit trees (orange, peach, almond ...).

The house has been completely renovated, respecting the original construction and its structure, wide stone walls, some cane roofs and exposed wooden beams. At the entrance there is a large porch from which you can enjoy great views of the valley to the mountains and villages of the mountains of Malaga
The house is distributed on two floors. In the lower one you will find the rustic kitchen fully equipped with dishwasher, microwave, electric oven, induction hob ...; a dining room with fireplace and built-in oven (for pizzas and roasted potatoes) and television, living room with television, three bedrooms, a bathroom and an independent studio (with bathroom, kitchen and fireplace). On the upper floor there are four bedrooms and two French bathrooms (separated from the bathroom, with shower, from the WC), in addition to a large open area as a living room or a games room.

Outside, it has an old oven for baking bread (usable), barbecue, garden area, playground for children, large terraces, porch and a large recreation area with pool, jacuzzi, lawn and sun loungers.

Villa trÚs agréable

Villa spacieuse, propre. Superbe vue sur les montagnes. Végétation magnifique. Jacuzzi un peu abßmé. Et cuisine un peu trop petite pour 14personnes. Je recommande. Nous avons passé de super vacances.

Fantastic hidden gem

This is one of the best villas we have ever stayed in. We were a 4 generation family group, and it worked perfectly for us, with shady areas under the vines and pergola, a play area and a secure pool, made better with the use of artificial grass round the pool. The villa.is very.well equipped with just about everything you need for a relaxing holiday and very spacious bedrooms with the added advantage of air conditioning in most bedrooms, the villa also has a disability friendly bathroom. The layout of the villa means that it would.work for family groups or for two or three families. The only thing I would say is when you are driving there Google.Cortilo cortigo and take the directions from their website. But I'd highly recommend this villa and we are looking at booking again next year.

Fantastic stay at beautiful location

We we're staying for a week with family and relatives at Gloria's villa and had a wonderful time. The views and the pool being the main highlights. Lots of beds inside and seating outside. Kitchen a bit small for such a big house and some applicances (e.g. toaster and coffee machine) could use updating, but it worked ok. Superb fridge outside for storing and cooling beverages. Gloria's brother was easy to get hold of and very helpful. The village of Mondron within a quarter walking distance with two restaurants and a small shop. In short we were very happy with our stay.

Hemos ido 13 amigos y la estancia ha sido bastante agradable. Lo mejor de la casa sin duda alguna es la piscina y la zona del exterior. Sin embargo la cocina se antoja un poco pequeña para tantas personas.

Family in Spain

The farmhouse was everything I had envisaged and hope for. It was very clean and extremely suitable for our big family, we have 10 adults and 4 children. The area is just outstandingly beautiful and although some distance from the nearest suitable supermarket once we found our way around it wasn’t a big issue. The pool and terracing was fantastic and we all especially the children enjoyed the facilities. The house is in a remote area and the first time you drive the A7204 and the road from Mondrian is an experience, but over the 2 weeks we all fell in love with shear beauty around us and the small inconvenience didn’t matter. We did n’t Meet the owner Gloria; however her brother who did greet us couldn’t have been more helpful, a real gentleman. Many thanks for a great holiday and I do believe we will be back sometime

Two week family stay exceeded expectations

I was looking for two weeks accommodation in July for our family of eleven, including three children. After picking up our two cars at the Malaga Airport, our GPS navigator told us it would be a 50 minute drive. However we both had difficulty finding the villa and arrived a couple of hours later than expected. I would recommend you go into Mondron the first time. There are signs clearly marking the route to the villa. The sign on the main road is hidden when you drive up from Malaga. Fortunately, Manriques, Gloria’s brother was patiently waiting for us when we arrived to give us the keys, and show us around. He spoke only Spanish, but used Google’s translate app so we had no difficulty with any questions we had. The villa exceeded our expectations. It has been completely rewired with top-of-the line kitchen stove and oven and air conditioning. There is a wine and beer cooler on the terrace which was handy. The wifi was consistently available throughout the house. Although the web site said there are no bathrooms, there actually was one downstairs and three upstairs plus another one outside. All had the new two flush toilet conservation systems. The terrace has been extended to a covered area with a 10 person table where we ate all our meals. The terrace is fitted with transparent wind protection that could be rolled down on the couple of days it was windy. The pool kept the kids entertained and was enjoyed by the adults with temperatures in the low 30’s. It’s well thought out with a fresh water feed and a splash overflow out the other end. My wife said there was a system to heat the water entering the pool so was refreshing but not too cold to use. Can’t say enough about the villa. We all enjoyed it and highly recommend it. Great place to stay!

I celebrated my birthday with around 20 friends and family at this beautiful finca and I would recommend it without constraints. The finca is huge (even bigger than it looks on the pictures), everything is in a good state and clean, the communication prior and during the stay was really easy and fast (thanks to WhatsApp) and the surrounding lanscape is impressive. It was actually really easy to find the finca as there were signs starting from the connecting road between Mondron and Periana to the finca. Thanks so much for the great stay!

En fantastisk bolig med en fremragende beliggenhed.

Vi fejrede vores guldbryllup sammen med vore bÞrn, svigerbÞrn og bÞrnebÞrn. Vi var 16 personer i alderen 2-72 Är. Vi nÞd det skÞnne hus og der manglede ikke plads hverken inde eller ude. Vi nÞd det store spisebord under vinrankerne, hvor alle mÄltider blev indtaget, samt det dejlig udekÞkken, hvor intet manglede. Ikke mindst poolen gjorde stor lykke hos bÄde voksne og bÞrn og en aften blev der ogsÄ holdt poolparty med discolys og musik. Vi nÞd den pragtfulde udsigt og stilheden. Daglig rengÞring af poolen og bagerbilen der kom forbi hver dag, samt friske ferskner som blev leveret flere gange, var en dejlig del af ferien. Alt i alt 14 fantastiske dage, som vi aldrig glemmer. A wonderful, easy place to relax and enjoy spectacular views of the surrounding countryside.

We came for a wedding and left having fallen in love with MondrĂłn and the surrounding countryside. The villa has a rustic charm and was spacious, clean and perfect for a group of family and friends to relax round the table on the terrace or down by the pool. The view from the terrace is stunning set in olive groves and fruit trees. Gloria and her husband are perfect hosts. I would definitely recommend Corjito Cabrilla.

We can't wait to return....

My family and I have just returned from a ten night break at Corjito Cabrilla which I hired for my birthday. When we arrived we were greeted by Gloria then shown around the wonderful house which you could see Gloria is very proud. The propriety is set in a rural location at the end of a farm track, so hiring a car is essential. The gardens around the house are beautiful not only flowers but also olive trees, fruit trees, herb garden and more grapes than you could possibly consume. The house had more than enough space for the ten adults and six children in my party. The kitchen had everything you could possibly need, allow it did take us a day to find the knife draw. The eight bedrooms were very spacious and clean with lots of towels and storage space. We spent most our time laying around the beautiful pool. I can honestly say it is one of the nicest private pools I have used, it was the perfect lenght and depth for us all. The pool area is a real sun trap all day and the views are amazing. We all had great fun making pizzas from scratch one evening. Then getting to cook them in a real pizza oven was a great experience. (Remember the oven takes about 3 hours to heat up). Having the pizza oven, large bbq and fresh bread delivered every day, we didn't eat out once which is very unlike us. We did walk into Mondron most afternoons for a drink in the local pub which is very affordable and to top up on supplies from the village shop which sold everything you could possibly need. The staff in the bar and shop speak very little English but are very welcoming and friendly. The only negative about this holiday was finding the house for the first time. Both Tom Tom and garmin satellite navigations didn't take us to the house, we end up using google maps which worked much better. For any future visitors I would recommend going into Mondron village because the house is really well signposted from the village and don't worry about driving on a bumpy farm track because Corjito Cabrilla is at the end of the track.
