I have stayed here before. The hotel is near Sliver Lake where I needed to go. The room was very clean. I always try to stay here when ever I am in the area
The Park Lake Motel isnât fancy, but itâs clean and comfortable. They donât provide breakfast or a lot of extras, so they can keep their prices low. It meets our needs.
What a great small town. Everything fit into our needs at Park Lake Motel, with one little idea that I think might be good for the rooms, Put a rubber mat on the flooring of the tub to prevent folks from slipping while showering or getting in and out of the bath. May prevent any serious falls...
It was perfect for what we needed a quick place to sleep. A bit outdated, clean and comfortable. I did not like we could not use the tv without calling a number to get connected I think it should have been mentioned that the room was upstairs.
Interesting to say the least
No onsight management
Self check-in and check out
Once you get over the appearance of a rather plain 60's motel, inside the door is a wood paneled renovated motel room
No frills but has everything you need for a comfortable night-decent mattress, nice shower that drains well and air conditioner that works fine
Room is clean
TV is a large computer monitor and service does not get live TV
Overall very average
Nice brew pub down the street and for great 70's kitsch the Charcoal Corral is a must see
Comfortable, old-fashioned motel (I was having nostalgia for road trips with my parents in the 60s and 70s) in great condition in a beautiful little town. I was traveling on business in Geneseo (about 20 minutes up the road), but was glad I stayed here in Perry. If you like vintage motor-hotels, you will love the Park Lake Motel!
Check in and out was super easy. The local dining recommendations made by the staff through email were good. The room was large and the beds were comfy. The room just smelled old, to the point that all of our bags/ clothes still had a smell when we returned home. We wanted somewhere close to Letchworth state park, and it was pretty close. It was fine for what we needed it for.
