Bear Necessities, free tickets, no catch!

Bear Necessities is a 3 bedroom/3 bathroom cabin located inside our Resort, just 2.5 miles from the Parkway in Pigeon Forge at traffic light #10. Bear Necessities has 3 levels and is 2500 square feet (plus deck space). This cabin will sleep a total of 12 guests and has parking for approximately 3 vehicles, with additional parking available in our Resort.

Main Level

Bear Necessities has 2 steps up to the front door, where you will enter into the main level. This level features an open air common space with the dining area, kitchen, and living room. The dining table seats 6 comfortably, with additional seating for 4 at the breakfast bar. The kitchen is fully equipped with a side by side refrigerator (with icemaker), a glass top stove, an oven, and a dishwasher. Other items provided in the kitchen are a coffee pot, a blender, a toaster, and standard cooking and eating utensils to accommodate 12 guests.

Bear Necessities living room boasts plenty of windows and a cozy, gas fireplace. There is also a sleeper sofa located here. Watch a the big game on the large flat screen TV or snuggle up next to the natural gas fireplace, regardless we know you will feel totally relaxed in Bear Necessities.

The main level is also where you will find the first of three bedrooms and bathrooms. This suite features a king size bed and a flat screen TV. The bathroom, which can be accessed from the bedroom or the entry hall, features a walk in shower.

The main level deck of Bear Necessities is the perfect place to hang out and enjoy a pretty day! Here you will find the outdoor fireplace, an outdoor TV, a natural gas grill (standard grilling utensils can be found in the kitchen), and plenty of high end gliders to rock while you enjoy the view.

Upper Level

When you get to the top of the stairs you will enter into the second of three bedrooms. This master suite features 2 Queen size beds and a flat screen TV. This bedroom also has a private bathroom, accessible through the bedroom only, which features a walk in shower and a Jacuzzi tub.

Lower Level

Head down stairs and have some real fun! When you first enter the lower level of Bear Necessities you will walk right into the game room. The game room features a pool table, an arcade machine, a flat screen TV and a wet bar equipped with a mini fridge. You will also find the washer and dryer in a closet off of the
game room. Not enough fun? Then you haven't found the private home movie theater also located on the lower level! The theater room features stadium seating for 10, pull out sleeper sofa, as well as a Blu-Ray player and surround sound. Come rent a movie from the DVD library located in the office, or watch your favorite show on the big screen...The theater is always a big hit!

This level is where you will find the last of three bedrooms and bathrooms. This suite features a king size bed and a flat screen TV. The bathroom, which can be accessed from the bedroom or the game room, features a shower/tub combo.

Last, but certainly not least, is the hot tub and outdoor TV which can be accessed from the lower level deck. There are also plenty of high end gliders on this level for those who aren't using the hot tub! The hot tub is the perfect place to wind down after a day in the Great Smoky Mountains National Park while you enjoy the mountain serenity!

There is FREE high speed, wireless internet in this cabin.
Gas fireplaces are turned off from May 1 to October 1.

During inclement weather (especially in the winter months), The Resort's roads are maintained by our maintenance staff and should not be a big concern to you and your group. Our roads are not steep and are widely paved.
The Resort is motorcycle friendly, featuring flat, paved parking spaces suitable for motorcycles and trailers.
