Book a hotel near Playa Mia Grand Beach and Water Park, Cozumel

"I loved how the hotel was spread out, smaller buildings for rooms with 8 rooms per building 4 on the top and 4 on the bottom. The food was pretty good, fresh. The grounds were kept clean, the ocean was spectacular. Lots of iguanas and birds around the property which had its charm. The cab ride to town for shopping is 300 pesos or 25 US per way, that got a bit expensive, that and all the taxes in Cozumel for this or that excursion. However it was a beautiful and safe with decent night shows and day games. Would recommend to families, people looking for quite area as it is about 25 mins out of town. "

"First of all I want to shout out to the Royal level team,Odalys, Alejandra, Maricruz and also the stuff at La Carreta restaurant Meseros, Armando, Claudia, Carlos, Rogelio and Shany. This is a lovely secluded place surrounded by the jungle and is very serene and quiet. I stayed at the Royal level and was pampered like a king they really make sure you stay is the best it can be and any problems were addressed with immediately. Slightly older place the Wi-Fi could be better but was fine and a little trouble with the hot water but they fixed it right away. We had a nice private pool and the food and private restaurant was absolutely wonderful. I went to a couple of other restaurants the corral or the Playa at the beach where they had a wonderful buffet and on certain night specialty seafood. Are you a cane so I was able to gain access to a shuttle if needed but it is walkable with a cane. Pro dive is on location for your convenience."

"Great home, loaded with everything you need to prepare meals for the family. Less than 10 minutes walk to the beach, everything we needed for the beach was there, cart, cooler, boogie boards, umbrella’s, chairs, sandcastle buckets etc. would highly recommend. "

"We stayed at Secrets for 7 days on our honeymoon and loved it. We were in a "preferred room" which I would recommend because we had access to all the other pools/restaurants which we really liked. The adult only aspect was really nice. We loved the swim-up bar. Easy and quick to get drinks. Staff/service was great! We were always able to find loungers by the pool or beach and staff would come around to get us food/drinks. We enjoyed all the restaurants and thought the food was great (neither of us are picky). We only had a wait at the sushi restaurant on the rooftop, which is a small place. 24-hour room service was also really nice. The property and rooms are older - but not gross or falling apart as some of the reviews I read would suggest. We had a couple issues with water pressure and flickering lights, but not a big deal - we weren't there to hang out in the hotel room. Housekeeping came daily and restocked our minifridge with beers, snacks and towels. We dove with Dive Palancar which was definitely the highlight of the trip - they were right next door to Dreams so we could walk over or they would pick you up at the dock. Staff were great and the diving is amazing!"

"I rated all 5 stars for the simple fact that Expedia continued booking despite Sunscape shutting down. However, when we arrived they were able to move us next door to Dreams and our service the entire process and confusion was wonderful."
