Property was in a great location and staff were very helpful and accommodating. The bathroom however wasn’t very clean. Still had hair everywhere, toilet was dirty and bathtub was not scrubbed either. There were also a lot of dead insects on the ceiling near the door.

Nice spacious bedroom and lounge room with great view over the valley. Good quality kitchenette. Bathroom was a bit odd -toilet seat didn’t fit properly and the water for the shower was the wrong way round. Loved the location as we had things to do at Bimbadgen -500m walk.

It was fine but would advise you to drastically lower expectations as it was most certainly not a 4 star property. Perhaps a solid 3 star-3.5 stars. The property was generally clean and you were hit with the smell of chemical cleaners as soon as you entered, however cobwebs and small spiders remained in ceiling corners, a dead spider was inside on the floor in front of us as soon as we entered. Crockery required to be washed again before use as there were food stains left on them . Furniture was tired with couches visibly sagging in the middle and uncomfortable to sit on. AC unit appeared to be out of order with no power light shown and the remote holder and remote removed from the wall (visible marks where it used to be housed). Lighting was dingy and dull when curtains drawn, however curtains were required to be drawn for privacy as the main door opened to the public road with no sheer curtain option available.

Great location in the valley for exploring wineries close by. Easy to walk or bike ride to Bimbadgen, Horner Wines and First Creek but there are also plenty of gems in a short driving distance. The villa gave plenty of space to relax for a weekend with a lovely verandah outlook of dams, trees, grass and kangaroos. The kitchen is adequate for tea and toast, wine and cheese, or takeaway meals.

Communication for check in was average. SMS messages to say we would receive a code as there would be no where to check in. When in fact no code was sent and there was a person at reception. Other then that everything was fantastic for a one night stay. Clean, spacious and very quiet. Would stay again.

Overnight stay at Hunter Valley

As a whole no problem for our stay except found the room only has one cup, one spoon and one folk which made it not very convenient for us to make drinks and have our cereal breakfast. Also property is a bit out from the center.

The property is in a excellent area and very close to restaurants and wine cellars I was just a little disappointed with the cleaning a lot of dust especially in the closet and spider webs on the ceiling of the living room and stained furniture

The apartment was bigger than we expected with a good comfy bed which we had good long sleep since it was rainy all weekend. The view from the back verandah was very nice and peaceful. The aircon was set to heating with no remote so we just used the fan and open the shutters for some air. It was ok for the time of the year. Not too hot. The shower was a mess with mouldy bits. It's wet all over the bathroom floor and the vanity got all wet too. Wasn't great. But other than that I guess the place was worth the money. The shower was just a poor design or an after thought.

Clean and comfortable. Good location. Friendly staff. Our room was like a studio apartment in a motel-style setup, but with a cabin vibe. We were there for a concert at Bimbadgen winery next door, and it was so convenient and easy to walk there. Considering most of the other guests seems to be there for the concert, it was amazingly quiet. Nice views towards mountains from the table and chairs out front. Will definitely stay again.
