"The Tropical was a very pleasant surprise in Ibiza! By surprise I mean, for the price I paid I expected a much more basic hotel but the Tropical was lovely. The room was very modern and a good size, comfy bed, balcony overlooking the pool which was also very nice (a bit cold but that can be a good thing too). The staff was very pleasant and helpful. The AC worked well for the hot days. The location is perfect, close to the west end party area, but not too close that it’s loud. Easy to walk to the port for boat excursions, and the clubs. Safe to walk home at 4am too :) overall I have no complaints, thanks Tropical!"

"Completely disastrous stay right from check-in until we had to get refunded for the rest of our stay. There was a music festival that the hotel knew about and was independent from the hotel, but let everyone at the festival use all their parking so there was absolutely no parking even for check-in. We were harassed by police as we had our car in front of the stairs to try to check in and the staff did not care nor wanted to hear solutions around helping their guests have parking. We ended up having to park on the street where our rental was damaged and now we have to pay for the damage. The bed was also extremely uncomfortable and we woke up with a back ache. Not to mention the music that went on until 1:30 AM from the festival. And all hotel management could muster as an apology instead of refunding us for what was a truly horrific night was dinner at their subpar"

"All staff were amazing, from reception to the restaurant to the pool area. Breakfast was first class, Rooms very modern and nice view. Rooftop pool bar had breathtaking views and many sunbeds. The two main pools had waiter service and a DJ from 2pm daily.The gym had views over the sea. An excellent all round hotel. I would highly recommend."

"The check in process was smooth, the attendant was very attentive anr kind. However, The property needs some work, the jacuzzi doesnt have hot water as a jacuzzi should, temperature was cold. There are no towels around the jacuzzi unless you request them at the lobby prior to using the jacuzzi. The towels in the rooms had hairs in them, and some stains. The rooms get cleaned daily but only to take trash out, housekeeping doesnt broom. The hotel needs better attention to cleaning details. The hot water in the room runs out after the second person showers so if you got more than two ppl and like hotwater then you need to wait an hour for hot water again in the shower. Didnt get to use the pool bar as it was closed when I was at the pool."
