"I will say, for my first experience staying at a lodge with my own individual unit, and in a subtropical region no less, I had a wonderful time staying at Overo. The units are smaller but very efficient A-frame cabins, and mine was certainly comfortable enough and it added to the overall experience of my stay. The lodge is close to the park to see Iguazu Falls and downtown Puerto Iguazu, which is perfect. The food and drinks were great and the service overall was excellent. The staff was very accommodating and I really enjoyed being able to communicate with them via WhatsApp. I did not use the pool(s) or spa at all, but I did go in the off-season. The cabins themselves also came with an electric kettle, plates/silverware/glasses, and a stove (yes, a fridge too) which was nice to have if needed. My only 4/5 star rating concerned the bathroom, which while perfectly functional, reminded me of an old camp grounds style of shower/toilet (concrete floor with drains). The shower was fine, but if any water made it past the shower curtain (which was pretty narrow), you could have some standing water around your toilet if it didn't dry up quickly. I had to wear shoes to the bathroom a few times when the time came. Not a huge deal if you are out and about, but it was a very small nuisance of mine. Overall though, my stay at Overo was excellent and I actually preferred it over another hotel I went to stay at in downtown Puerto Iguazu. I'm hoping to come back again one day! "

"Location is great- close to bus station but it feels more like a mini resort in the middle of town. Easy transport to airport and parks. Good restaurant and nice options by the pool. Amazing breakfast!"

"We had a beautiful room on the 6th floor with a view of the Iguazu River, Brazil and Paraguay. The hotel is just a block from the major hub of restaurants, bars and shops, plus lots of Argentine wine stores. The hotel was designed in a very modern style with an enormous open atrium lobby and an interior glass elevator. Our room was very comfortable with the possible exception of the shower. The shower had a too small glass wall that didn’t prevent water from splashing onto half of the vanity. We had to be careful not to soak any fresh folded towels or other objects that were on the counter. The floor got very wet with water spilling out to other parts of the room. Perhaps the excellent water pressure was the issue. I also found it strange that at all three of the very nice Argentine hotels we stayed in, none regularly provided wash cloths along with the rest of their towels. They didn’t seem to understand what they were or how they were used. Still, the positives were very excellent here. We loved taking our own bottle of wine to the roof lounge to watch the sunset. Highly recommend. "
