Ok for quick stay but not great

The hotel could definitely use some updating and repairs. The carpet in the hallway is dirty and worn. In the room, the outlet on the lamp was broken, the door frame was torn up, there was no hot water at 5:00 am and the sheet on the bed had a large hole in it. The bed was comfortable and there was plenty of space in the suite.

The worse Hilton I have ever seen . Please RENOVATE! Lack of linen Pool was green The ceiling caved in and the plaster, and debris from the roof in addition to any mold and mildew and other airborn particles filled the room, carpet and buckets that were sat out to catch it as it fell. Despite the fact that this occurred in the dining hall. The hotel still served and staged breakfast in this wet, contaminated soiled area. Instructing guest to merely walk around it. Breakfast was to include waffles however the waffle iron was broken There was only one working elevator in a 8 story building. No ventilation on the elevator Lack of ventilation in the hallways. The hallway was very humid. Despite the property being located in the south in May where the temperatures rose over 80 degrees this weekend. The only pool was an outdoor pool but was an offensive green. It did not appear to have been serviced since the prior summer. Every fixture, piece of furniture and carpet seems to be from the original build. Extremely worn and dated. Felt more like a motel stay then a Hilton stay . The staff was attentive, receptive and attempted to be accommodating. However when a toilet of another guest had overflowed they were told there was no maintenance on staff. The guest was asked to plung the toilet themselves. Just an overall bad experience. DO NOT BOOK HERE if you're expecting a Hilton experience. I hope this is not how all Homewood Suites are

Hilton of Raleigh Crab Tree Mall

We were promised a room away from the elevator. Our double was changed to a king further down the hall. No happy hour Monday through Thursday. The shower never got beyond warm. There were no extra covers and none on the pull out. The tissue holder was a pen. There body wash was broken plus the holder. The pull out had a wire sticking out. The ceiling was falling by the breakfast area. The woman working the breakfast area and the day manager were great. We stayed here a year ago and were impressed. We won’t be back.

The location of the inn was great. Very pleased with the service. I had two dogs with me and the front desk staff was very helpful in giving me a room with easy access to the outside. The property is not new but in good condition and the room was quiet. The kitchen was updated except for the coil burners on the stove and functional. Overall I was pleased with the room. However it needs a few simple upgrades to the connectivity. The breakfast provided was okay in choices. Coffee was provided in the lobby but decaffeinated coffee was not available and the supply in the room was insufficient as I didn’t have room service because of the dogs.

The place needs a good cleaning.

Front desk staff were nice. No assistance regarding the area. Breakfast was ok staff. Breakfast staff yelled at guests. There seem to be three elevators for the building and two are not working correctly. The rugs and the upholstery in the common areas or stained and dirty. I’m out room they made the bed with no blanket. The whole place could use a sanitizing cleaning.
