This rustic cabin is suitable for just a couple. There's extra charges for other 2 stated occupants and space for a blowup is extremely limiting. Understand that "guests" includes people staying and only the 2 allowed on the property, which costs the same whether just visiting or spending the night. It was pleasant for 2 people, communication was good, physical site really nice!
The cabin was very private, cute, and clean. You have plenty of pace outside away from the nearest cabins and youâre right along the river. The best part was the large bull moose who walked right by the cabin in the morning and walked across the river. Would stay again!
The location was perfect! We loved sitting on the deck and listening to the creek and watching the deer. The cabin was very cosy and quiet, perfect for a couple get away. We forgot our books, however we enjoyed a couple of good books there and played cards at night. The cabin was clean and nicely furnished with everything needed. We would definitely like to stay again.
Riversong is exactly what you will hear from the back deck of this great little cabin. The cabin is furnished with everything you will need. The location is beautiful and quiet at the end of a kind of bumpy dirt road. We didn't need high clearance or 4 wheel drive but not sure what winter would be like. The path along the river was perfect for a nice walk with the pup and there is easy access to all kinds of outdoor activities. The host provided great information in the cabin. It rained in the afternoon but the covered deck provided the perfect place to read, enjoy a hot drink and listen to the rivers song. We will definitely be back.
Beautiful property in a secluded mountain neighborhood. Has a great porch out back overlooking the N Fork of the Cache La Poudre river and a wood burning stove/fireplace to keep you warm. Hosts were very responsive and helpful. Dry clean with nice kitchen. Will definitely return.
We had a terrific time staying at the River Song Cabin. It is clean and bright and very comfortable, just perfect for our 51st wedding anniversary. We hiked several trails and to several of the lakes. I fished Lower Lone Pine (caught 3 rainbows there) and caught 3 little bookies in the creek, and tried my luck at Hiawatha (but got skunked there). We loved making a little fire in he stove at night to take the chill off and twice fell asleep together on the sofa, hypnotized by the flames. We wanted for nothing (except a potatoe peeler. LOLWe visited the Village a couple times and had a nice dinner out at Beaver Meadows Resort Restaurant to celebrate our 51st, and the food and service was excellent! I highly recommend the glazed salmon.Weather was great. We saw a variety of wildlife; deer, rabbits, camp jays and lots of hummingbirds, and was surprised to watch a bobcat stroll through the property. Also truly loved the adorable little chipmunks and they kept us constantly entertained.A shout out to Carrie and Barb at the Base Camp, who are kind and patient with all my questions and always explained with a warm friendly smile. We absolutely loved our stay there, and I'm sure weâll return at some time in our future.Thank you Diane for your attention to the details, it really shows in how complete everything came together for us to have a wonderfully relaxing stay very seamlessly.
Beautiful location, well appointed cabin. We had everything we needed and enjoyed being in the natural setting. Hosts were friendly and great with communication. Would recommend!
The area is lovely, the development seems nice as they take pains to be respectful of their neighbors. The overall impression of the cabin is that it is in need of a serious deep cleaning, generally everything is old and a bit shabby. At a price point 40% less than what we paid I'd rate it higher, but it's way too expensive for what it is.We booked 3 nights, but left after 2 nights there.I'm mystified as to what the hosts do with the extra cleaning fee they charge. The hosts seem nice, but this property is extremely overpriced.
Absolutely peaceful location and great property. Just as described. Dianne was super helpful and communicated throughout our stay. Would highly recommend! If you are looking for the perfect mountain getaway with someone special, this is it! Will be back!
