Finch House - Oregon Beach Vacations

Bright and cheery, this sweet little beach bungalow is perfect for a romantic weekend getaway!

Located right on the beach in beautiful Rockaway, Finch House boasts easy beach access and stunning ocean views.

Start your morning with a cup of coffee on the large deck as you wake up to the sound of waves crashing. Preparing breakfast will be easy in the galley kitchen equipped with the essentials, or if you prefer breakfast the local's way - grab some freshly baked pastries from the Bake Shop.

If the weather is a little windy or rainy, guests can still enjoy breathtaking views from two large windows in the living room. Set up a puzzle or play cards at the table, or after a long walk on the sandy beach, relax by watching a show on the flatscreen TV from the couch or comfy reclining chair.

Soak up sunset views from the deck before heading to Sand Dollar Restaurant & Lakeside Lounge for some fresh seafood. When it is time to turn in for the night, the nautical themed bedroom has a queen bed, and there is also a sleeper couch in the living room.

Small in size, but big on location and views, the Finch House is ideal for a couple or a small family looking for a weekend getaway to the beautiful Oregon coast!

View and access to the beach were the number one reason for booking this property. Otherwise there is nothing special about it. It is exactly as described. Was clean, and bed comfortable. Very generic and no homey touches. Would include sheets in the bedding for the pull out sofa, only had pillows and a comforter. Location as far as restaurants was pretty bland. Bar food or food trucks.

Perfect Weekend Getaway!

I took a 4 day road trip from Vancouver, WA. During my stay, I walked on the beach, road the train to Wheeler, shopped for gem stones at Spunky's Rock shop and Dragonfly Crystals, bought souvenirs at Flamingo Jim’s, ate vegan food at Wild Cafe and Grocery, and visited the tallest cedar tree in Oregon! The home was perfect in every way: location, size, cleanliness, kitchen supplies, and comfy bed. I did yoga on the deck in the sunshine and watched the sunset in the evening. Everything about the rental process was easy. I look forward to returning!

I gave a two night stay at Finch House to my son and DIL for a birthday get-away. They enjoyed a great stay! My son, who can never get too close to the beach, reported being able to see and feel the waves come ashore from their bed!

Wonderful stay

This was our 2nd time at this property. It's perfect for me and my 88 year old mother. Always clean and well maintained. Only issue is the ant problem, put all your food away and keep counters wiped down.

Property is just as advertised. Gorgeous view, great location. Small but great for a couple or single. Property manager was awesome, I got immediate help when I needed it. I couldn't go with five stars because it wasn't incredibly clean, but overall a great place!

Beachfront Getaway

Amazing little house on the beach! Exceptionally clean and well maintained. Well stocked with kitchen utensils and cookware. Plenty of room for the two of us. My elderly mom had trouble getting down the stone steps to the beach but we went farther down the road for her to have an easier time accessing the beach. Couldn’t figure out the tv remote and couldn’t get a hold of anyone to work it. Would be nice to have an instruction folder for those of use not technically inclined;) would go back often if it was a little less money but I thoroughly enjoyed the 2 nights we were there!
