When in Rome...

Great location and property. Walking distance to the Vatican (about 3 blocks). Take the bus on the next block or walk...Coffee and bread at the room every day! The area is very suburban and filled with great options to eat and relax.

Home in Rome!

Ricardo was especially helpful. He helped with directions and suggestions in where to go. We were given bottled water...espresso and cookies every day!!!

Close to the Vatican!W

We had the hotel arrange for pickup at the airport because the hotel would very difficult to find on your own.The hotel is basically six rooms on the second floor of a building with many tenants both commercial and residential.There is no external sign denoting the name of the hotel!We liked everything in the room,no complaints whatsoever!

Great location

The location of this hotel is great, far exceeds my expectation. The courtyard is beautiful and quiet, I feel very safe and comfortable walking into the building. Riccardo and the staffs are very friendly and helpful. I thought breakfast is included but it's not, however there's coffee machine, snacks in the room for our use. There's a big delicious deli just 2 minutes walk to the right, which serves great pastries, pasta, sandwiches, all kinds of coffee. Maybe Riccardo can recommend that one, thanks.

Wonderful location, nice accommodations. My only complaint is that there really wasn't breakfast as expected in a B&B and advertised on the website. Just coffee and a biscuit.

Great little hotel in the heart of Vatican area.

A converted apartment in a lovely building off the Main Street. Hiding behind huge doors, a modern yet tasteful cluster of rooms. The staff were on the end of emails or the phone during the hours that the small reception desk wasn't manned. A great secure base for travellers who don't feel the need to have a concierge on hand 24/7. Very clean and comfortable, I would stay abain and again. On the 2nd floor but there is a small vintage lift.

COMFORTABLE guest room in GREAT LOCATION

Ricardo the manager/owner welcomed me in an email within days of booking. He confirmed my time of arrival & room booked, so he can meet me to arrange entry to the premises & offer shuttle for 60 euros. I choose a shuttle service but upon arrival Ricardo advised there is a shuttle called "Bus Shuttle" that picks up & drops off within 200m's of room, so should use this for home. I advised Ricardo the trip is a 25th yr anniversary trip & advice required for where to eat. We were happily surprised with the mini wine in our frig as a gift. We forgot to buy an adapter to charge our iphones & toothbrush, and he offered to lend us his adapter with no additional charge. Room had memory foam mattress and pillows, as well as regular pillows. We like our room cold, so air conditioning worked well, and we used the extra blanket in the closet. Women will appreciate the full length mirrored closet doors. We upgraded to the DELUXE room, and it is the gold room shown in the photos. There are 2 rain shower heads & 2 hand shower options, one in each corner of the shower, so two can shower at the same time if you want to save time. Washroom included a stocked mini frig with sparkling and distilled water, &/ juice. Some T.V. shows could be converted, with language button, to audio, English. There was also a single bed to right of double bed, which you do not see in the photo. Room was a great size. Classic old Lift fit 3 people & 2 large suitcases. Would definitely recommend & book again!

super safe stay in central rome next to Vatican

hard to find at first as no sign post but we looked on google maps prior to arriving. Met at entrance by kind hotel owner, check in was quick and very easy, except b&b came with no breakfast which should have been included? lovely area; high end shops as soon as you leave the room, close to Vatican City 5 min walk, 30 odd mins to the colleseum, safe to walk around inc in the middle of the night (as tested), supermarkets restaurants and cafes all close by and also the metro (subway) station which we used daily Would say the room is a tad bit small but not anything that takes away from this hotel Perfect for a couple but a family would need more space!

Nice hotel, well positioned near the Vatican.

Lovely clean but small hotel, 5 minute walk to Vatican City and Metro. Owner Riccardo very friendly and helpful and would defiantly recommend this accommodation. Only slight negative was lack of draw space and inconsistent wifi which is normal in Italy. Well worth booking this place for your stay in Rome!

Nice rooms. Was cleaned daily and given little treats and coffee. Has air conditioning and wifi- although it cuts out. Make sure you arrange a check in time before you get there because there isnt someone around often. The place was really hard to find at first as well. There are many places to eat and shopping all around as well as only about 10 min walk to Vatican City (book online so you don't have to wait in a 3hr line).

Amazing hotel! Close to Vatican museums.

It was really a surprise to find this hotel. The building is a residential building and you won't find any name outside of it. You have to get into the premises and go up to the second level of one of the buildings. Then you see a small sign "The One Vaticano Rooms". As soon as the door opens, you are transported to a luxury looking lobby, it's just another world once you're inside. The rooms are very well decorated, spacious bedroom and bathroom, which is a rare find in Rome.

We had very good experience in this hotel. This hotel is very comfortable, has a beautiful decoration. and very good amenities in the room. Every thing in the room are new, every day you can made espresso coffee or tee, eat cookies or toast etc, every thing for free. The room is very clean and has a great light.

Modern, great value hotel right near the Vatican

The hotel is located in what appears to be a residential building just off one of a busy main street near the Vatican but as soon as you walk into the main courtyard a quiet descends which makes you feel instantly more relaxed. There are only a couple of rooms (five I think) which are accessed up either a flight of stairs of a rather rickety old lift with room just enough for two people and a suitcase! The rooms are a fair size considering the location and have air conditioning, a free minibar and memory foam mattresses which are very comfortable indeed. The owner speaks a little English and was very helpful with giving us directions or information on how to book a taxi, where to get the bus, etc. The only downside for me was that although the listing advertises a free breakfast, in reality it's just some fruit juice and a couple of packets of French toast with Nutella. Fortunately there is a proper Roman café just up the street which serves coffees for 90 cents and pastries to die for! Overall a very pleasant stay.

Excellent hotel, super nice staff, great location!

This is a new, modernly designed hotel, 10-15 minutes walk to the Vatican. The room was clean, comfortable and a complementary drinks, cookies, toast and jam, were included, as well as a coffee machine. The staff were very nice and kind. Please note that the hotel itself, is a part of a very nice residential building, what makes it even more "cosy" like. Thank you, we'll be back!
