My family is in love with New Zealand and thoroughly enjoyed all of the adventure activities in the Rotoruro area. I loved some epic trout streams a mear 25min from the house. The architecture took our outside inoutside n.
Looks just like photos, amazing view, clean/fresh furnishings. A ways out of town but thatâs ideal IMHO given the town is very touristy. Very cool to have your own dock (and the public boat ramp is just a few doors down). We rented kayaks from River Rats and they dropped them off for us.BIG caveat is that the house is essentially a duplex â there is another similar house about 2 ft away that effectively share the property. No one was there during our visit but if it was a noisy group it would seriously impact the experience. I think it is misleading that isnât mentioned in the listing as the overhead photo includes both houses!!
We stayed two nights and this property and it was an incredible spot to be - relax, unwind and enjoy each others company (eight friends travelling). We didn't get down to the beach bit as it was raining so we enjoyed the hot tub instead. Thank you for sharing your home!
