We had a lovely stay at the Rydges Roturua. The only downside was the hairdryer in the room was not great.

Our room was a bit dated and not the cleanest. Although the bed sheets were fine. We were a family of 4 and had to ask for an extra towel and cups but they never came. The hotel staff were lovely but overall a bit disappointed with the room.

Great outdoor heated pool, Cafe made nice coffee, nice tourist shop. Rooms and bathroom are old and run down. Had no wifi connection on TV to run chrome cast asked us to change roomsb to fix which we akready had done due to mould in first room. Dirty corridors all doors outside had scuff marks on them. Nice foyer but rooms and corridors don't match

The receptionist was distracted by whomever (definitely and guy and it looked to me like one of the security guys) and was not welcomy or interested in my needs and wants at all. I didn't get to organising breakfast as that just looked like a bridge too far for her and i was tired (9.15 check-in) and just want ed to sleep. All in all I thought she was unemployable.

1. Breakfast is good. Very healthy, yummy fruits & juice. 2. Old old place. The main hotel entrance looks nice compared from the room conditions ; carpets are old, no water ( only water bottle -> so you have to go to the lobby to get the water from water tap ), sink basin water was very slow down, smells like hot spring, and so on. 3. Free parking. Pretty empty hotel when I visited

Bed were very comfortable airconditioner worked well kept the room at a nice temprature. Not impressed with the shower as it was too low and most of the nozzels were blocked. Windows in the lounge area not clean.
