Our first room could be entered without a key card; it wouldn’t lock. My adult daughter went inside and locked the door and I could enter without a key card just by turning the handle…and she locked it inside!! Yikes. The next room they moved us to had a “screaming” toilet sound when we entered the room. Flushing it made it stop. It was so hot but we had to keep turning off the air conditioner because it also loudly squealed.

I got 2 rooms for 2 night's. My TV didnt work, when i went to the front desk she waant able to help me, i asked for maintenance she said they were not on duty, i asked for a manager was told the manager didnt work on site. So i sat in my room watching the tv buffer all night. The next morning when i left i asked if they wouid check the tv when they went in to clean they said yes no problem. Well when I returned that night ny room hadn't been touched. The bed wasnt made. My TV still didnt work, and i had no clean towels or wash cloths. My parents who were in the other room, went to the front desk to get more towels so that they couod shower were told that they were out ot towels. How does a hotel run out of towels?? So they also had to use the dirty towels sitting in the floor, that we thought wouid be replaced when they cleaned. I e mailed the manager asking for a refund, when the manager reaponded she apologized and said i wouid see a $50 refund on my card. I wouid have been more content if she would have split the bill in half, because i did receive a service. But i will not book at a holiday inn again. I always thought you couldn't go wrong with abholiday inn, but i stand to be correct.

The check in process took forever and front desk staff was unapologetic. Line out of the lobby for people checking in at 9:00 pm. Booked this hotel through third party Expedia. On our last day, a charge was placed on the card for the full price of the room. Went to the front desk, unable to help because no manager on duty. Said that she would email manager about the charge. At this time no contact or resolve of the charge.

We arrived at the hotel at 4:30 only to be told we had to wait for a room to be cleaned even though check in was at 3pm. Your room will only be cleaned if you're on the "list" to be cleaned. We stayed 3 nights and our bed was never made, our trash was never emptied and we ran out of toilet paper. We only got toilet paper and clean towels because my husband tracked down one of the cleaning ladies in the hallway. The worst part of all of this was that the people at the front desk didn't seem to care at all or wish to fix any of the issues. With all of the other hotels in the area, we'll be choosing another place to stay next time we're in SLC.

The property was convenient as it was located right off the I15. The front desk seemed understaffed and the manager appeared stressed out but the employees were friendly and helpful. The room was spacious, clean, and very comfortable. The continental breakfast needs some optimizing for more food selections and better service. However the coffee was the best I’ve ever had!

Lovely hotel and lovely spacious rooms. The pool and gym were good. Check in was smooth and staff professional and friendly. The only down side was that the breakfast was a bit limited. We had arrived 40 mins before breakfast ended and no bagels, muffins, pastries or waffles and pancake machine was broken. However, there were eggs and bacon.
