The house was well maintained and comfortable (we didn't spend a lot of time there, but the kitchen was well appointed, beds were comfortable) and the location was perfect for hiking Volcan Barva and starting our CR trip. The only issue we had was with the management company, Vacasa, who didn't communicate our arrival to the house manager, but otherwise it was perfect.
Nice change of scenery and the manger was wonderful. The cabin was was pefwct for our interests and secluded enough to feel out of the city, yet close enough to go when you wanted. No ac, but not needed because itâs cold up in the mountains at night and the fireplace was used often. I will give some advice to owner however? Do not use vacasa as a broker they were rude and were adding huge fees and costs that were not at all necessary or reasonable. The house was great though, but watch out for those fees.
