The Log Cabin on Cawley Pond
The Log Cabin on Cawley Pond! We are so lucky to have this much loved home to offer. So many beautiful details within the walls of this two bedroom home will have you smiling and remembering what craftmanship used to be!
Welcome home! Amazing waterfront on Cawley Pond in Sanbornton, NH. The ground level boasts a garage with washer and dryer, open kitchen living area and full bath. Walk out to the screened porch that will provide you with a sense of peace as you look at the beautiful and natural surroundings.
Upstairs is another living room with large entertainment center (hand built that will take your breath away), one bedroom with a Queen sized bed and Twin bed, and another bedroom with a Queen sized bed. The living room has a sleeper sofa, if you need it, and another sitting room with a puzzle table that overlooks the pond.
The outside of the cabin consists of natural shoreline, expansive yard with plenty of room for the kids to run, or to just sit under a tree and, perhaps, read a book! The owner has also, graciously, supplied a canoe and 2 kayaks so you can explore the pond and the surrounding natural areas. There is also a dock that is perfect for fishing. Don't forget to get your fishing license if you are over 12 years of age! Cawley Pond has boating restrictions. A motorized boat can not exceed 5 MPH. And, of course, no jet skis on this beautiful pond. We don't want to disturb the turtles!

House was great plenty of room to relax along or together
Thank you
The view of the lake is outstanding! The location is a little away from the action but is very peaceful and easy access to the interstate. It was great for leaf peeping in the white mountains and Vermont. The only negative was that heating could have used better instructions. It took us several nights to figure it out, but after that all was good.
This updated log cabin is beautiful and clean and has comfy beds. There are plenty of paper products and even a tray with everything you need to make coffee. Out the back door is a beautiful lake with a dock for fishing. We caught a lot of fish while we were there. Pike, Bass, Crappy, Sunfish and even a little Perch.
The house is filled with beautiful thingsâŠ. Stained glass and woodwork which was created, not purchased. There is a whole bookcase of reading material, including cook books.
There are two Kayaks, a canoe and a rowboat available. We took the kayaks out multiple times and discovered a huge beaver den at the edge of the water.
I spent many hours just sitting by the lake, soaking up the peace.
We will be back next year!
We absolutely loved the cabin during our stay in July. The property is in a quiet country setting but only minutes away from the Lakes and all that the NH Lakes Region has to offer. The house has a well equipped kitchen and lovely views from the porches. Itâs a perfect getaway for a couple or family.
