Amazing Sea View Aparment by Wonderful Italy
Spacious and bright apartment in Santa Margherita Ligure, located on a hill only 10 minutes walk from the center and the sea. It is nestled in a quiet residential area, surrounded by nature and with a beautiful sea view.
Access is via a staircase of approximately 30 steps: it opens directly onto the living room with kitchenette, then comes a small laundry room, a double bedroom with bathroom with shower, a bedroom with twin beds and the second bathroom.
A splendid panoramic terrace with sea view and garden with fruit trees (both for exclusive use) complete the apartment.
Opposite the building is a bus stop.
Santa Margherita Ligure is located on the Ligurian Riviera di Levante, in a closed basin in the northwestern part of the Portofino promontory, and in the inner part of the Tigullio Gulf. The center, located east of Genoa, is surrounded by hills covered with Mediterranean vegetation with views of the so-called "Costa dei Delfini", which links the city to Portofino. The town is a well-known seaside resort on the Riviera di Levante.
Part of the municipal territory of Santa Margherita Ligure is included in the Regional Natural Park of Portofino.
32 kms away from Santa Margherita is Genoa, well-known port city and capital of Liguria region, historically known for its important role in maritime trade over the past centuries.
Known as one of the most extensive medieval historical centers in Europe, the heart of Genoa is a maze of alleys that unexpectedly open up into small squares, often related, like the churches overlooking them, to important noble families.
The spirit of Genoa lies in the alleys, where different smells, tastes, languages ââand cultures perfectly blend in.
In the historical center is the Cathedral of San Lorenzo, in Romanesque style with a black and white striped façade and frescoed interiors. Narrow streets lead to monumental squares such as the Piazza de Ferrari, with its characteristic bronze fountain, and the Carlo Felice opera house.
The Genoa aquarium, the largest in Europe, is unmissable and iconic. The exhibition itinerary shows more than 70 environments and about 12,000 specimens of 600 species, coming from all the seas of the world. An unforgettable experience for young and old, which will fill your heart with emotions and a deeper respect for the sea and its extraordinary inhabitants.
Not to be missed is Genoaâs culinary tradition, with its iconic basil pesto, famous all over the world, and the âfocacciaâ, which can be either salted and topped with olives, onion and tomato, or even sweet and stuffed.
This was a beautiful, relaxing apartment for our stay. The views are wonderful. Very quiet. The walk into town was 12-15 minutes, depending on where we were going. A bit slower coming back because of the hill! Our host Nadia was very helpful, meeting us on our arrival and departure.
Das Appartment ist sehr schön oberhalb des Zentrums gelegen. Das Appartment ist sauber und gemĂŒtlich.
Die Terasse ist groà und man hat von dort einen sehr schönen Blick.
