Clean and Comfortable

The bldg is old but our room had been renovated and was quite comfortable. Very clean! Bed was comfortable. More pillow options might help. Staff very polite and efficient. Fridge was a bit noisy but did not keep us awake. Being near the airport, morning flights began at about 5:30 am.

Lantern Inn - beautiful stay

Very pleasant trip and accommodations were top notch. Anything needed was immediately brought. We recommend The Lantern Inn. Very comfortable and pool was lovely.

Don’t let the outside fool you! The rooms are spacious, modern, and clean. There are large tvs, bathtubs, and great products in the showers. The tiki bar is fun and friendly and has a great assortment of drinks. The staff is really helpful and nice. There was some construction going on and it is close to an airport, but noise was negligible and intrusion was minimal. We will go back!

This is an awesome place to stay. It’s clean and quiet and they are really nice people there they know how to treat their customers the housekeepers are really nice. Also they go above and beyond.

After having an evening flight canceled at Sarasota Airport, I feel lucky to find the Lantern Inn via Expedia. It was a reasonable rate compared to the surrounding national chains. It was convenient to the airport. I would stay here again.

Hidden Gem

The hotel exterior is under construction due to hurricane damage but that is superficial. The room was practically brand new inside and the amenities and common areas were well maintained.
