Comfortable and Clean

The hotel grounds, pool, and room all seemed clean and well maintained. All the staff are very helpful and nice. The beds and pillows were very comfortable. The hotel is starting to show it age a bit but is still very comfortable and clean. The location is safe and I had no worries about my car and belongings. It's about 15 mins to the beaches to the south and about 20 mins to Newport.

Overall it was a good stay - the room was clean but the only two things we did not like were the bed was extremely firm (did not sleep well and felt like sleeping on a rock; which is something that some people do like, just not us) and the bathroom was very small. Other than that, it was perfect for what we were doing in having a central place to stay and explore Narragansett and Newport.

The hotel was average in terms of meeting our needs during our visit to URI. The hotel was conveniently located for our purposes. The hotel could use updating, especially the rugs and bathrooms. We were disappointed in the breakfast fee per day - especially for what was offered.

Comfy stay near Newport

Nice room and location. The only negative thing I could say is that sometimes it was difficult to get out of the parking lot onto the main road. But I didn't find out until after my stay that there is a back way out.
