First impressions are everything, and this hotel nailed it! I've never been greeted by a hotel associate in the parking lot, so that was a bit shocking - in the best way. This hotel, and all the staff, went above and beyond to make sure we were well-informed, comfortable, and had absolutely everything we needed for our stay. I was blown away by all the sincere and generous people at the hotel. The customer service certainly exceeded my expectations. For myself, my husband, and my two boys (13 and 9), the location of the hotel was perfect for what we needed. It was only a one-night stay, so we were honestly just looking for a nice place to rest our heads, that was also in a good location. We were within a short walking distance to many food options, and the location seemed to be nice and safe. It was the perfect place to stroll the streets, and take in the sights. Our room was beautiful, with plenty of space for all 4 of us. It had extra chairs, a bench and a little table, which I loved. Everything was clean and the room details were very thoughtful. My ONLY complaint, which I should have expected with an older, remodeled hotel, was the noise level at night. Unfortunately, I could hear everything outside and inside the hotel, which was surprising, as I am usually a great sleeper. They did have earplugs on the nightstand, which ended up helping. Something to keep in mind if you are a light sleeper. Otherwise, everything was perfect. I highly recommend this hotel.

Beautiful building, the old wooden floors are creaky and the TV is very small for a room this size. Overall a great place to stay that is close to all the historic parts of Savannah.

We went during the week so it was quiet and not very busy. Nice , clean room, comfortable bed and close to a parking deck but small amount of spaces was available, all parking is free. Great room and close to river street and Leopold's.

Hotel has a wonderful personality. Staff was very friendly overall. Only issue we had was they were kind of rude about a late checkout request. They could have just explained it was not possible versus saying they never allow them. I do not follow why you would have a policy to never alllow. I do follow that sometimes it is not possible. We did check out bags with them for an hour and they were very friendly about it. Overall ai would recommend the hotel if a late check out is not desired.

The parking lot was easy and convenient but very small. The hotel was very nice, the AC froze up and didn’t work most of the time we were there but it was winter and the front offered us a fan. Overall wouldn’t mind staying again, it was very classic Savannah!

The Inn was amazing. Quaint, quiet old south ambiance. Parking was fine. Room was clean and comfortable. Very helpful and friendly staff. The location was perfect. Plenty of great restaurants within walking distance.

What drew us to East Bay Inn was the free parking, which can run you $50/night, and the location as some friends were staying nearby. The location is great. The staff were friendly and there is plenty of water, coffee, etc. Maid service was good. You receive a couple of drink tickets for the small bar/coffee shop next door. Several guests have pets could be another selling point or turn off. It's an old southern inn in an old southern town.
