Welcome manager was great, nice to have a friendly person behind the counter. Fast service, no delay and gave us local info for tourists. Room was nice and cozy, comfortable bed. Breakfast was also good, hot scrambled eggs, waffle maker, hot coffee. We enjoyed our stay and will go back, this city has so much history and beautiful sights. Thank you.

Convenient to downtown and the historic district. Room was nice and spacious. Staff was so friendly and helpful.
Very Courteous at the front desk. The breakfast staff was great. The room seemed a little old but it was very comfortable. I would have rather have been in the main building instead of a cottage.
The SERVICE stood out! Every person we came in contact with was so kind and helpful, something rarely seen this day and age. The location was great, very walkable. The suite was extremely clean, large kitchen area, separate vanity and shower areas, and the bed was extremely comfortable. The lobby was beautiful and very clean and nicely decorated. The courtyard is a beautiful, quaint area with a bbq, seating areas and a pool. Overall, this hotel has earned this 5 star review and I will definitely stay here again.

Disliked: Cleanliness, staff & service
The hotel was nice on the outside and the lobby area. My room looked great at first glance. Then when I went into the kitchen area, there were these very tiny bugs crawling around. When I went into the bathroom, around the sink the bugs were crawling there too. I called down to complain and was told maintenance would come up. That never happened. The next morning, I complained about how maintenance never came up and was told someone would come as soon as maintenance got in. When they finally came, he brought a can of raid and sprayed the counter tops. He said he doesn't know where they are coming from. Under the sink were two big holes, and one of them had a drink bottle in it. Perhaps that could be where the bugs were comimg from.
The blanket on the bed had stains on it.
The room would not heat up. The temperature read 66° and felt cold no matter if it was turned up to 80°. The room remained cold. I complained to the front desk several times, but the room still remained cold. I was told that maintenance was coming to fix the issue, but it was not fixed.
The breakfast was very limited and ended by 9 am. That included coffee being put up too. Guest should be able to get coffee past 9 am. The toaster was not working properly, so your bagel or toast didn't cook properly, or didn't cook at all. The bananas were days old and not fresh.
The hotel was in a nice location, and within walking distance to Broughton St.
Nice stay. Room was clean and spacious for us and our pet. Complimentary breakfast was better than most. Parking is limited unless you go valet. The hotel shares property with gas station a which was nice to grab snacks and drinks. But also a questionable crowd of people sometimes there. Is a bit of a walk to river st about 20min. Limited food selections nearby we door dashed both nights due to only one walkable restaurant nearby (cuban) plus we had a pet so no outdoor options within 5min walk except for Wendy's. But overall nice stay was not disappointed.
The dresser drawers kept opening on their own and the pillows were very flat. The gal in the breakfast area was very pleasant, very helpful and always cleaning the area. The valet gentlemen were efficient. The area around the hotel was not desirable. Felt like you had to pay to park out of safety. Having to pay extra for parking was not appealing and will be why will not return to that hotel.

Room service came so late. The room service only came to our room around 5 pm when we reached our room after a day in the city. And as we reached, she just quickly wrapped up making the bed and left. She didn’t care about the rest of the stuff. The floor, the bathroom, the counters, nothing was cleaned.
