The room was very spacious, comfortable and quiet, with friendly and helpful staff. I attended an event at the civic center, and was very surprised to learn that it was easy walking distance from the hotel, and I felt very safe walking to it alone.

You get what you pay for here...it definitely was a bit of a walk to get into the heart of the historic district. The room was updated and clean but we didn't have hot water any of the three mornings we stayed, many of the outlets didn't work, there were zero hooks in the bathroom for towels, and we could VERY clearly hear the guests in the adjoining room watching TV and snoring. So...bring ear plugs!

The day man at the front desk, I don't remember his name, was very friendly and gave us advice on things to do in Savannah. We asked for a handicap shower seat, I am a below knee amputee, I don't believe they had one. He somehow pulled it off and delivered it to our room. Amazing cutomer service, thank you!!!!

The staff was very friendly With the ratings it had, i expected something different. the room we stayed in had a musty smell. When the ac would cut off it made a noise. When the elevator was being used you could hear a loud bang. The bed when you laid in it you would sink to the middle the Keurig in the room was dirty.
