Unfortunately I believe that previous stays at other locations were better. This was the first time I was asked to provide a credit card for “incidentals” which were not incurred but how long will the pending charge stay on my account? I also think I was charged twice for the incidental deposit. There was no shampoo in the shower, just the body wash and TWO bottles of conditioner. There is no microwave or coffee maker in the room. Staff had to be told that regular coffee was lacking at breakfast. The only bright spot was the breakfast attendant who was friendly and helpful. Doubt I will stay at this location again.

Rooms are extremely small. Even if you get a king. Barely enough room to put up my babies pac n play. Had to move the refrigerator to get enough room. Smallest room I've ever been in.

Night in Smithfield

Really liked the hotel and its amenities. 2 thinks that weren't great but are minor: check-in was wasn't smooth, seemed to be an issue between the hotel and my reservation through hotels.com. Secondly, after setting the sleep timer, the tv reset and said hi ___ and reset the timer - woke up to a police siren on the tv.

I like the fact that Tru has modern utilities and modern design. Rooms are comfortable. Having a pool table and board games makes family stays more fun. Pancakes for breakfast is a real treat.
