Beachfront Complex - 2b 2b - Beach Place #504

Beach Place #504 is a lovely 2 bedroom, 2 bath condo close to all of the popular attractions in south Madeira Beach. Bright and spacious living quarters is tiled throughout for easy clean up. Enjoy nice views of John's Pass Village from your private balcony while soaking in the Florida sunshine!

You will be required to sign a rental agreement with SunHost Resorts prior to a reservation being confirmed.

Rest assured, 504 Beach Place has everything you need to make your stay relaxing and enjoyable. The kitchen is large, not to mention spotless, and stocked with every utility including microwave and coffeemaker. The well appointed living room, with lots of seating space, has TV, and leads to the outdoor balcony. Enjoy all of what Madeira Beach offers from this popular condo!

Both bedrooms are comfortable and the master includes a King bed and TV, while the Guest bedroom includes 2 Queens with lots of closet and dresser drawer space. Linens for all beds, extra pillows and sufficient towels for your stay are provided. Free WIFI, but no landline in this unit. Coin laundry is conveniently located near this unit.

This unit has ONE assigned parking space, with no additional parking at Beach Place. Please call SunHost Resorts if you're considering a last minute booking.

Of course, with all SunHost properties, you will find our vacation rentals meticulous. When staying in a SunHost unit you will also have access to onsite 7 day a week management and maintenance to assist with anything you might need. This is a non smoking home.

Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The staff at Sunhost are good and responsive. The only thing I would note is that there are 8 different reps. It seems that every time you call you get a different person and you get different info from each one of them. Other than that the service is good. Beach Place is very noisy too...close to the road and noisy. The condo needs some upgrades too...for what these owners get for rent they should spend a little money once in a while and replace some tile, caulk etc.

Location is the only good part

The location was really the only good part. The condo is very outdated. The beds are uncomfortable and you can hear the springs in the mattress every time you move. The couch had dirty socks from previous tenants under it. The dishes are very old and were dirty in the drawer. The code to the elevator obviously needs to be changed. The first night there we had some punk teen kids that rip around the parking lot come up the elevator and open our door to the condo. Clearly they were in the wrong place and were greeted by my husband who is 6’4” quickly! They weren’t staying there, they are locals and romp through the parking lot several times a night. Location is good but street traffic is loud. We won’t be staying there again.

Great building location

The location of the building wads wonderful Steps to the beach, across the street to Johns Pass, many restaurants, and the VFW which is a great place to eat , drink and make friends very reasonably, The location of the condo in the building was awful. A view of the bridge and Bubba Gumps restaurant and the park right below. The worst was the noise level . The cars and motorcycles as well as frequent sirens made it impossible to sit on the balcony and carry on a conversation. It was also difficult to concentrate on reading a book. The condo in general was very outdated especially the bathrooms, I would be willing to bet that the majority of renters are older people like ourselves. Comfort height toilets and vanities would be very beneficial as well as making one shower a walk in shower There was no water pressure in the master bathroom and the stopper was not in the hole but just laying in the bathtub which would not drain. The kitchen was very poorly stocked with plastic glasses and old miss matched dishes. There was alot of rust in the fridge, but the appliances worked OK. We stayed for 3 weeks. When we got there the condo was not very clean especially the bathroom floor in master bath, but in order to clean we had to go out and buy cleaning supplies. The only thing available was a broom and dustpan. the vacuum did not work. There were no beach towels or chairs or anything for the beach. People who come by plane would need to go buy things and then just leave them there which is not very cost effective especially given the cost of the rental. The living room furniture on top of being extremely uncomfortable was dirty. We covered them with towels and blankets before sitting on them and sinking down deeply. The beach was beautiful but never again will we stay at this condo

Reviewer Comments: To be honest the whole condo needs to be refurbished with new kitchen, two new bathrooms, floors, and doors, I feel the price for what you get is certainly not value for money, I normally stay at surf song condos and I feel some of them are the same but they have started to update some of them, I have been coming to Madeira beach since 1985 but we are thinking of starting to look for other places to rent as we feel we are not getting value for our money which is a shame because it is a friendly and beautiful place to holiday maybe you think I am being a bit harsh but that is how I see it sorry.

We enjoy this property every time we visitThis was our 4th visit to the property, and 2nd stay in this specific condo. It was perfect for 4 adults and 2 children. It was clean, it's as it appears in the photos, conveniently located, and so has a wonderful view. We had no major issues during our stay. The garbage disposal did have tape over the switch, so we assumed it did not work. There used to be random beach items that guests could use, in the closet, which I know are not guaranteed as part of our stay, but all those items have been cleared out of this unit, so plan on purchasing new or borrowing chairs, umbrellas, toys etc. from the shared box located on the beach(if they're available). Also the condo was supposed to have a laundry basket, but it didn't, so I just used my own bag or carried my folded things. None of these things were a major issue, just things I remembered having in the past. Overall our stay was great again this year!

However, this condo leaves a little to be desired. I have stayed in Madeira over 25 years and have been in several different units and resorts. This one really needs some updating and to consider stocking the kitchen with more quality items. The beds were extremely uncomfortable and bathroom fans did not work. The patio doors didn’t shut and it was extremely loud.

The King bed mattress was quite worn out.The beach and pool was very good...the last day we were there the A/C froze up even though we didn't turn it below 72 degrees. The maintenance man was rude as he was blaming us for the A/C freezing up... never was repaired...I am a maintenance man myself and I'm pretty certain that it was just low on freon...

We enjoyed our stay and made several side trips. We stayed in 504 at the back. The unit was clean and ready for us when we arrived. It could use a little TLC in the bathrooms such as repair/repaint the doors from a previous water leak and when cleaning make sure to clean the coffee pot. Only 1 glitch with management, they gave us the wrong code for the elevator when it changed. Have stayed at Beach Place for numerous years and will go back again.

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was clean. I was more than happy with the location. I was more than satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Great location and convenient. Street noise takes getting used to. While the condo is good, updates including furniture would be nice. All flooring in the condo needs steam cleaning. Also, cleaning supplies for bathroom, kitchen and glass would be helpful for extended stays. Looking forward to 2024!

Great place but...

Rating Details: The property manager was adequately helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was somewhat dissatisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Beach Place in Madeira was a great location. The condo was good, the view from the balcony, close to boardwalk and everything along the beach. The ocean is very close, just a straight walk out past the pool. With so many units the pool is often full, and the other guests were friendly. Right next to Beach place is public parking and so a lot of people come and go, and in the evening hang out making a bit of noise with radios, cars and generally being loud.Two bedroom unit and one of the beds was broken. So for 3 nights they slept with their head up and their feet a foot lower. There was supposed to be a work order in, but maintenance, who we spoke to directly, said they had no record of it. After 4 days, i fixed the bed myself with a screw gun and some 2.5 inch screws. The front staff was a little rude about the issue. This was also the circumstance when talking with them about an additional parking space. We had requested an additional space, as we had two families, 6 people, staying, and then confirmed this a month before and again 3 days before. The hurricane had made a lot of people cancel. The lady at the desk referred back to the rental agreement about 5 times about 1 parking space. I acknowledged this, and that a request had been made and approved. She couldn't believe it, and was very put out to work this out. Eventually we got a space, but I would not plan on it happening again while she is in charge.
