Direct Beachfront Balcony - Beach Place #309

This is a very nice 1 bedroom, 1 bathroom condo with beach front view in southern Madeira Beach that sleeps up to four! Enjoy being close to it all, in this updated retreat that promises a one of a kind vacation! Free Wifi Please note there is no phone in this condo.

You will be required to sign a rental agreement with SunHost Resorts prior to a reservation being confirmed.

Tiled throughout, guests will enjoy the full kitchen, complete with granite countertops, newer appliances and fully stocked with all cooking utensils for your convenience. The spacious living area, contains a dining table that can comfortably seat six, nice furniture, and large flat television. Just out the sliding doors, you will discover the outside balcony with stunning beach and pool views! The master bedroom offers plenty of room with two double beds, and attached modernized bathroom with granite countertops. As with all SunHost properties, every need is met, including fresh linens, extra pillows, and plenty of towels stocked prior to your arrival.

As a SunHost guest, onsite 7 day a week management and maintenance to assist with anything you might need. This is a non smoking home. Please note there is no sleeper sofa in this unit. Free WIFI is included as is ONE assigned parking space. There is no additional parking at Beach Place.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Beach Place Unit 309 was a perfect combination of beautiful sunsets and walking to John's Pass. The only issue was the sliding door to the balcony: very heavy and difficult to open. I cleaned the track with WD-40 which helped but still a maintenance issue. Traffic can get backed up on Gulf Blvd when the drawbridge is up, more often on the weekends. Left turns to head north is a challenge but you can drive a short distance along Gulf Lane where you can get out. Many times the traffic stops for pedestrians using the crosswalks so overall I had no issues.

Reviewer Comments: Staff was helpful, upon arrival Saturday 6/29/24, they left helpful numbers, however stated that no one would be on campus on Sunday.#309 was clean. However, very dated. Furniture in the unit, is outside furniture, very uncomfortable, probably 30 years old.TV is very much in need of updating, definitely not HD. The balcony was not comfortable 4 chairs and 1 small table, definitely needs to be updated, and door needs painting.Kitchen utensils need updated; need measuring cup; need a k-cup coffee machine, muffin tin.Need more kitchen towels and dishcloths.Refrigerator may need looked at, wasn’t very cold.Bathroom needs better lighting, towels were adequate.Elevator, extremely slow.Unit #308 stored all of of the beach toys, chairs, umbrellas, and equipment in the hallway alongside our wall outside.Unit #410 fed seagulls off the balcony on Wednesday-Thursday.Unit #409 was very loud on Wednesday, running, slamming doors, moving chairs-furniture a lot.Pool area most days had 25-28 minors in the poor, yelling and screaming, with little adult supervision.Location is great, but overall the campus is dated: 30-40 years with no changes.Wednesday after rain, the parking lot next to pool was flooded.I would tell friends about the location; however, I would also tell them our experience.I would not purchase a condo at this location.Finally, the Beach Place beach, is not a private beach, most days the public had access to the beach and made it very crowded. Likewise, the pool was too crowded and many unsupervised minors being very loud.I observed teens using lounge chairs jumping into the pool.

The condo could use some TLC but we would go back in an instant! Floors are dirty, cabinet hinges are loose, bathroom fan doesn’t work, ice maker didn’t work, kitchen faucet was loose. It just simply needs a little bit of work. However, the location is great, the layout is great, the beds were comfortable, and the condo was well equipped. The building and area felt very safe.

Towel holder and light plates in bathroom covered in dust and crud. There was fingerprints all over the bathroom doors and hair stuck to the walls Dishes in cabinets had food on the.. all the glasses were dirty. I had to rub everything thru dishwasher before we could use it. There was SKIN on the couch like someone picked their sunburn, so obviously the furniture was notvwiped/vacuumed. The toaster was covered with crumbs and finger prints definitely notvwiped or sanitized. There was one garbage bag that lasted a hot second because they were so thin. Before we could enjoy our stay we had to go buy bleach cleaner to sanitize and clean the entire condo and but garbage bags. We were there for 7 days and got 4 wash clothes. Not sure about others but we shower daily, sometimes twice. We definitely DO NOT use washcloths more than once. Towel yes. When I asked for more washcloths I was told they weren't provided, inbound need to wash them in the laundry room. Also there's no recycling bin in condo. So everytime u had recycling you had to walk across the parking lot to recycle.The parking lot out back near the pool is used for local teens to loiter, blast music, swear, play football ect. At 3 a.m. itvwokevus up a few nights. I called the non emergency # but noone ever came. The kids just kept coming back.

Reviewer Comments: It was okay.Bathroom fan didn't work; elevators for the first 2 days kept shutting down, A/C wasn't working when we arrived; bathroom rod was rusted. Owner needs to update bath fixtures and shower liner looked dirty. Gate from beach was a big problem; worked then didn't work. Non guests were jumping fence and using pool - we had to pay for that. Complex has no control over parking lot that butts up to it for public use. Kids just parking (not paying) with drinking and loud music. Someone smoking weed at next condo. Thought these units were non-smoking.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Had a great overall experience at Beach Place Condos. Beautiful view and great location. Great customer service from Sun Host. Right next to John's Pass village with lots of great restaurants and shops to frequent. Room was very clean but, I would suggest changing out the rusty shower curtain rod and shower curtain. Also, the lights under the microwave were burned out and although there were plenty of pots and pans, there was not enough of everyday dishes available.

Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Would not recommend single bedroom unit.Very small bathroom.Shower rod very rusty,should be replaced.Exhaust fan did not work.Sink stopper did not work.Unit should be painted.Note enough sufficient plates and glassware.Could use tri-light bulbsNote that I am currently staying in a 2 bedroom unit and very pleased with it and would recommend it

This unit they do need to fix the vent in the bathroom doesnt work. Would be great to have pot holders, pizza cutter, pizza pan. Sometimes the closet light wouldnt come on. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The unit was furnished very nicely and the view and location were perfect for us! There’s just a few little things that need attention but other than that we enjoyed our stay and will be returning next year hopefully. The kitchen is very well-stocked and has the most cookware/utensils we have ever encountered in the unit which was very surprising.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Always excited to come to Brach Place coming down 40 yrs. First time renting 309. Disappointed in furniture. Old wicker that smelled mold and mildew. Both of us got sick and wondering if came from furniture? Bathroom needs updated. Beds were fine sleep was good. Pool area clean and pool kept clean and water tempu good. Will come down again but avoid this condo
