Perfect week in st Pete!

We loved this property. It was so bright and airy and had plenty of space for me and my two teenage sons. Everything was clean and neat and the location was perfect for us. We 100% would stay here again.

Great Townhouse

We enjoyed our stay here! Communication with management was very thorough and responses were quick. The location was perfect for us and we loved how close the pool was to the rental. The area is very quiet, calm, and peaceful. The home was very clean and we had no issues with anything in the rental. Everything was perfect. We would rent again in the future if we’re in the St. petersburg area for vacation.

Perfect for graduation

Our family of 3 young adults and 2 parents got together for their brother’s college graduation. This property was perfect for our group. Location close to beach and just 15-20 minutes from St Petersburg was ideal. House is just as advertised. Clean, well-stocked. Smart tvs, laundry, coffee maker all new and work well. Neighborhood is a pretty typical golf course set up with some walking paths but not a lot of shade, if that’s your thing. Communication with property manager Bonnie was first rate. When we arrived, the umbrella for the outdoor space had been damaged in a storm. She had a new umbrella within an hour, and she answered a couple of other questions with just as easily. Our one suggestion: 10am checkout is pretty challenging for a 3 bed/3 bath property where people are likely to stay with family. It’s the earliest checkout we’ve ever had at any VRBO house (our previous St Pete rental was noon) so it’s a good thing to be aware of when you book.

Graduation Getaway

We enjoyed our stay very much. The townhouse was big enough for our family that came in for our daughters college graduation. The beds were comfortable. The master bedroom was huge with a large walk-in closet. The twin beds were a little small for my 25 year 6 foot son, but would be perfect for small kids. The kitchen was well stocked and even had coffee filters!!! The kitchen table only sat 4, but that wasn’t an issue for us. The location was perfect! 10 minutes to St. Pete beach! There is a $1 Toll when you get off of 275 that’s manned, and then another one coming back from the beach that’s unmanned. The surrounding property was beautiful with a golf course as you enter the complex. The pool area was very nice and clean. We had a couple of minor issues, including the cable going out, but the management company took care of everything immediately! We would definitely stay here again!

Island in the sun

Isla del Sol is a great place to stay in the winter. Lots of space to walk or ride bikes. The seafood in the area is some of the best. This property however needs work. Mostly small items where the management company is tardy, ice maker, ceiling fan and lights in living room, outlets not working and a/c vents needing cleaning. The local pool is close by , but the water view pictures are misleading. For a couple this unit is fine but a family would be crowded. There are many other rental units in the area, hopefully better cared for .

Amazing location, close to pool, private and quiet, beautiful commmunity

This rental is a stand alone villa in a beautiful community within walking distance of St. Pete's beach and biking distance to Fort Desoto beach. The community is beautifully kept and there are lots of places to walk. You are sourrounded by water on Isla Del Sol so any way you leave you see water - just amazing views from the causeways. There are lots of renters as well as owners - all very friendly. The pool/hottub was fantastic (werm and hot) and within 100 feet of the property. The villa itself was worn but clean. The onwers could spend some money on blinds, newer furniture and appliances. To be clear none of these items were broken just well used and could use some updates. The kitchen is sparesly equipped so if you have a max group there of 6 you may need ot run the dishwasher after each meal. We had a small leak in the garberator and a maintenance person was there within a couple of hours to fix it. We kayaked nearby and there is an endless supply of great seafood places within 5 mins of the place. We had an incredible time and would not hesitate to stay again!

Dirty bathroom

Although the house worked well space wise for our family, I was not impressed with cleanliness of the bathrooms or Kitchen. The tub & tile in the master had a film on it & the inside plastic shower curtain was gross. Even in ordinary circumstances it should have been replaced, but with the extra fee for “covid cleaning “ I was surprised there wasn’t a new one.

Great location. Nice house. Lots of positives..!

There was lots to be happy about here. My only issues were the grill was not cleaned so I had to clean it. Then, there was no propane (it was near empty). When I responded to a property management email to mention the grill was not cleaned, I was told not to communicate by email but to use the portal - even though they had JUST used email to communicate with me. Then, I was told it was not their job to ensure the grill was cleaned. Really, that was the only blemish on an otherwise great stay.

Booking company Messed up.

Upon arriving at the town home that i rented from Nov 30-Dec 8th 2019, along with my wife, and two young daughters, and after a long day of traveling, I come to find that our home was already occupied by another family. I immediately contacted NextHome, and after reviewing their records, it turns out that we have been double booked, due to a booking error by one of their associates. Now, i understand that things happen, however our rental was a 3 bedroom 2 1/2 bath for a reason. After asking for a comparable unit, they said they could only offer me a 2 bedroom unit. I said that would not suffice and that they would have to provide a like unit. Long story short, it fell on me to find a new rental, for same day check in with out any of their help. As you can imagine, finding a 3 bedroom for same day check in was doable, but also more expensive for obvious reasons. after booking the new unit, I immediately contacted NextHome, provided them with a copy of the new invoice, and asked them to pay the difference. They acknowledged they received the email, and assured me that the owner would contact me by Friday, Dec 6th to resolve the issue. It is now Monday, Dec 16th, and i have yet to hear from the owner. I am posting this to assure that you triple confirm any of your reservations with these folks, and be aware that there is a potential to be double booked when you arrive at your vacation.

Pleasant stay

Nice size and lovely area. The house itself could really do with some updates, the master bedroom in particular which is a dreary brown throughout with some old worn out furniture, the en-suite bathroom also very dated. The upstairs bedrooms are fine and the rest of the house ok. We had a few minor problems and the agent was excellent at replying promptly and fixing any issues we had. I’m sure there are more modern properties for the money in the area but if you are happy in a simple house with comfy beds this is absolutely fine. We had a great holiday.

Great location and house

We stayed a family of five at Villa Mirada for 11 nights and had a wonderful time. The house was great with 3 bedrooms and 2,5 baths. Flat screen TV in all rooms and good wifi. Nice Weber bbq in the back yard. The interior of the house could do with some light updates but overall good standard. The complex area is well maintained with a nice views and pool close to the house. Isla has a perfect location close to both Pass a grille and Fort Desoto. We would definitely rent here again.

Spring Break 2019

This condo was perfect for our family vacation of 6 -clean & comfortable. Quiet neigborhood which we loved. The heated pool was very clean as well as the hot tub and plenty of lounge chairs and tables (located within approx 100ft from condo). 5 minute ride to St. Pete's beach and many restaurants. I had an issue with the dishwasher and they responded immediately. Thank you so much!!

Nice House!

House was well equipped with nice linens, towels, etc. Kitchen & furniture was refreshed & newer, unlike many off the units at Isla. Technology was very up to date with fast wi-fi and smart TV so we could access Netflix & Prime.

This house was fabulous! Will definitely use them again!

This house was perfect for our stay in Florida. The house was loaded with all the amenities needed to make our stay comfortable and enjoyable. The neighborhood was very quiet and clean. The pool was just a few yards away and never crowded. The internet worked great and never had any issues. Definitely recommend staying here if you are in the area.
