This nicely renovated 2-bedroom + loft + den condo comfortably functions as a 4-bedroom home, making it an excellent choice for families and groups who want extra sleeping space without the premium price tag. Guests will enjoy mountain-chic finishes, vaulted ceilings, a cozy reclaimed barnwood gas fireplace, hardwood flooring, mountain views, and access to fantastic community amenities, including hot tubs, a seasonal pool, BBQ areas, and a playground. The ski area is within walking distance and the free city bus is just steps away, making it easy to reach the ski slopes, restaurants, shopping, and downtown without needing a vehicle.

The Property:

Designed with both comfort and flexibility in mind, this spacious condo provides multiple sleeping areas, 4 TVs, and spaces that allow everyone to spread out or enjoy time together.

The open-concept living room features soaring vaulted ceilings, comfortable seating, a gas fireplace with reclaimed barn wood accents, TV, and access to a covered balcony with mountain views. The adjacent dining area and fully equipped kitchen feature beautiful Corian countertops, updated finishes, and everything needed to prepare meals after a day of adventure. Down the hall you'll find two Queen bedrooms, making this floor ideal for couples or guests who prefer to avoid stairs. These bedrooms share a full bathroom which is accessed from the hallway, allowing privacy for the bedrooms combined with convenient access to the bathroom when needed. Also on the main level are a couple of bonus features - your private laundry area of the hallway, and your ski & snowboard storage locker outside the front door.

The upper level offers a loft and a separate den that each function as additional sleeping areas. The den / bedroom 3 features a Twin-over-Full bunk bed plus a TV, making it ideal for children, teens, or single adults. The loft / bedroom 4 includes two twin beds, a large window, and overlooks the living room area. With all this space, you'll have plenty of room to spread out, and everyone can unwind comfortably after a day on the mountain.

– Mountain Access: Walking to the slopes is actually pretty doable, especially if you're renting your skis with free overnight storage in Gondola Square! Ask us about discounts. You don't have to walk, though. The free Steamboat city bus stops frequently, right at this development, providing convenient transportation with a short, direct route to Gondola Square and then onward throughout town.

– Summer Experiences & Outdoor Recreation: Adventure begins right outside your door! Gondola Square transforms into a lively hub featuring concerts, festivals, restaurants, and family-friendly activities, making it easy to enjoy the best of Steamboat without having to drive. During the warmer months, you can hike or bike on the ski mountain, starting right from your condo. The Burgess Creek Trail is right across the street from this development, and the Yampa River Core Trail, offering miles of walking and biking paths that connect to downtown Steamboat, is just a quarter mile from your door. But there's more! Whistler Park is also right down the road. It provides the perfect spot for families with a large playground, open fields, picnic areas, and charcoal grills for a relaxing afternoon outdoors.

Arrival, Accessibility, Layout and Parking:

Once you book, we're here to support you before, during, and after your stay. We will provide arrival instructions, local information, and answer any questions you might have before your trip. Accessing the property requires stairs. This condo is located on the building's upper level. Specifically, you will need to go up two flights of stairs to enter the unit. However, it is this feature which allows for those vaulted ceilings, and also means no one making noise above you. Parking is plentiful in a large outdoor lot with unassigned spaces. RVs and Campers are not allowed. Trailers might be permitted but only with specific advance written approval, and must be no larger than a normal vehicle. Please contact us before booking if you will have a trailer, and we'll be happy to discuss available options.

** Group Sizes, High Occupancy Fees, & Maximum Occupancy - Some properties use a “High Occupancy Fee” to “raise the rate” for larger groups, and are thus able to list a lower nightly rate for smaller groups. The place was a little cramped for our group of 7 with all our ski stuff but otherwise it was pretty clean and a great location. Very convenient to use the shuttle or walk (when not in ski boots) to the local spots.

Awesome location

Grey's property was super clean. Had a great kitchen, it was stocked with everything you need to cook, a large table for dining and comfy beds. 15 mins walk to the gondola. Quicker than the shuttle!

Excellent Condo, very spacious, clean & updated!

We LOVED our stay at the condo! It had so many beds and you can tell they have recently updated it. The location was great, being so close to the slopes and just a quick drive to downtown as well! Cooking was easy with the fully equipped kitchen and I loved having a huge pantry to store all our food for the week. The whole place was very clean, organized and we enjoyed playing games and doing a puzzle they provided.

This property was sufficient. The pool was not great and the people around the pool were vulgar and either drinking or smoking a ton of weed. The house was nice and had all we needed. The location for town was great and Steamboat Springs is fantastic.

Check in was an easy process. The kitchen was well stocked with any appliance and cooking tools needed to make a variety of meals. The bedrooms and living space was comfortable, however the upstairs area remained very hot even throughout the night. Fans were provided, but did little to cool the upstairs. The unit overlooked the pool, and the pool was clean and enjoyable.

Great choice

I would highly recommend this property. The owners make it very easy for guests from out of town by providing the little things like hand soaps, a little shampoos and conditioner samples, paper towels, detergent, and even spices in the cabinet making it easy to cook family meals instead of going out to eat ! The loft offers extra sleeping space for larger families . Steamboat ski resort is highly accessible with the bus transportation line being right out in front of the condos. We’ve stayed 2 years in a row.

If you want to stay in a condo that is constantly cold, this is the place for you. If you want to stay in a condo with a poorly stocked kitchen, this is the place for you. If you want to stay in a condo where you have to wash the cooking equipment before you use it, this is the place for you. We had all of the thermostats for the electric heat set at eighty degrees and it still didn't get warm. The floors were freezing cold and the fireplace was not at all helpful at heating the room. It was also so dingy the logs and flames from the fire were barely visible. The floors under the beds didn't look like they'd been cleaned for some time. There were female undergarments and dust bunnies that had been there a while. The hot tub was warm at least. Not ever would I recommend this condo.

Smaller than expected

Very hot bedrooms, no A/C and had to run fans all day/night and keep windows open. The room with a bunk bed had no window or closet. And the room with the twin beds was a loft area, not a bedroom. The pictures make it look more spacious but it was quite tight for two families.

Weekend ski trip

The stay was just okay. The management group was great to deal with unfortunately the unit seemed outdated and worn down, and it felt like they tried to cover it up with quick fixes and surface-level updates. It looked like they put “lipstick on a pig” to make it passable, but the underlying wear and tear was hard to ignore. It wasn’t terrible, but definitely not what I expected for the price.

Condo is very spacious and was in an easy to access location. Unfortunately, we came during a heatwave. So when we arrived at the condo it was unbearable. The heat plus acclimating to the altitude made it for a difficult afternoon/evening. I'm the end we went to Walmart to buy a box fan and another smaller/powerful fan since the condo had some fans but they didn't blow any air. Thankfully some locals gave us tips on how to cool down the condo so we could sleep at night.

Father’s Day trip

The condo needed to be cleaned better and the neighbors smoke dirt thing in the morning and at night so it was had to leave the windows open to cool the condo as there is no a/c. The fans that they give to circulate the air are all really dirty and need to be cleaned and the blinds in the 2 queen bed rooms are broken as stated in a previous review but said they had been fixed. We had a group of 7 and there wasn’t enough silverware to for 1 meal and everyone to have a fork. The beds were comfortable but the “kids” room had a urine smell to it. The price was decent for our group and considering the location, and last minute booking. But I would probably not stay here again or recommend it.

Nice and convenient location, but condo needs a good cleaning!!

The location of the property was convenient and the property was quiet and private. However, checking in on time was quite a hassle. Management asked us to delay checking in since the cleaning person was not able to attend to the property on time. We were ready to check in and had to wait quite a while. Finally, after we checked in, we all noticed how dirty the place was. The beds were clean and the bathrooms were somewhat touched up, but one toilet was dirty, there was hair in the kitchen sink and bathtubs, kitchen cabinets needed wiping, tables were dusty, there were coffee stains on a decorative plate in a bedroom...... Not very pleased with any of this! Right away I sent management photos. Eventually, they apologized and refunded the cleaning fee.

Magnificent Views

Had everything we needed , from cooking full course meals for the family, with dessert, baked a cake and made cookies. To a great bus stop spot. Loved the fire place in the morning's. Halloween in town was the Best, grand kids loved it.

Easy access to base area

Only a 5 min walk to the ski base area. Lots of beds and easy access to pool and hot tub. The playground was great for the kids. Overall s great place to stay. No complaints. Would recommend.

Just the right size for our family

This was the perfect space for our family of 5. All the kids had their own bedroom! The blinds could use replacement and the TVs in the bedrooms wouldn’t work, but the beds were comfy and the place was spotless. We loved our stay here just minutes from downtown and close to grocery store and restaurants.

The condo was dirty and if it was recently remodeled it was by a middle school woodworking shop class. I think the unit is not well managed as the lack of cleaning has to fall on them. The pots and pans available were in terrible condition, burnt and scrapped up inside. The refrigerator makes a noise like a pump inside of it is going out. The stove was filthy, we tried cleaning but it is just to burnt up and beat up. The table in the dining area is rough and rustic which makes it uncleanable. The door in the downstairs bathroom will not open fully as it hits against the toilet. You have to open as far as you can, walk in and them shut the door to get to the toilet and shower. Like I said whoever remodeled this place doesn’t have any real skills. One of the upstairs units is located in a closet like room has no windows which is a problem since the unit is not air conditioned or ventilation. The front door jam is cracked as if someone forced enter, it isn’t secure at all. Window shades are broken. I know this isn’t a specific problem with the unit but one of the second floor tenants is a heavy pot smoker. First thing in the morning and again in the evening. You can’t set on the balcony because of the smoke and fumes. I could go on and on but I think you can get the jest of what this unit is about. The unit owner needs to see the mess this unit is in.
