It was a lovely hotel. Very clean and comfortable. Only problem was that staff was not full time and it was difficult to resolve financial issues, although they were finally resolved. It was difficult to communicate by email but this was eventually worked out. Still, a very enjoyable stay.

Reasonably close to Sutton Village. Never saw any person from staff. Sandwich board in lobby said sorry we missed you. It was there the next morning. Key in envelope. No instructions or invitation to understand amenities. Had to call number on website to get wifi code.

Outdoor heated pool and sauna were very nice to use freely. My room was the single one and there were some issues with the portable AC unit leaking. I was there for 3 nights and they only came yo fix before the last night. No offer to change me rooms, just to get myself some extra towels and soak it up. We arrived at 5:30pm and no one is there to greet us, just grab your key from the mailbox. Staff is there supposedly during the day but I was out all day so didn’t see any of them. Bed mattress was comfy.

If you’re looking for a great mountainside ski town feel, this hotel in Sutton has it. Friendly staff. Loved the hot tub and sauna and pool. Family friendly. Large IGA supermarket and many local cafes a short drive away. 12 km to US border. Charming place. We’ll be back!
