Amazing staff, especially Henry. The hotel was perfectly situated next door to MRT and other popular attractions. Buffet was awesome and a togo breakfast was given us before we left at 0710 for the airport. The snacks and beverages are overflowing inside the room and by the guest services. Thanks so much.

Parts of the property is under construction so there’s noise btw 10-5pm & that’s the main reason it’s only a 4 star. I would’ve change my res but it was too late but I’m glad I didn’t. My First impression of the bldg is not great, the front is a 7-11 store & its entrance is on the side. The location is great!!! Located across Daan park & metro station,Close to shopping & restaurants, a lot of great thoughtful perks ie free bottled water, a few snacks & drinks in your room as well as in the reception area,it even have ramen noodle one evening! Breakfast is great too, a little bit of both western & Asian options. Theres also laundry facility available for free which is quite handy. Another great service is the option to book a tour package or ride to/from airport or to the cruise ship port at a reasonable price. I would stay here again. Thanks Dandy staff!

Bathroom is very clean, although bedroom is not very big but looks very clean mattress is very firm. Sleeping very well. Near by DaAn Park MRT station. Only 1 min’s walk. 7-11 is next to the Hotel very convenience. Staff is very courteous and friendly.

Good value hotel next to daan park

Hotel is nice but a bit dated. They were doing construction on the second floor when I was there so you will hear noise during the day. However, they stop working around 6pm. The rooms are small but has everything you need. Service is nice and they have a really nice breakfast spread. Overall good value with convenient location.

We would stay again!

Comfortable beds Room and stay is perfect for resting after day long adventures. Clean showers Great location! Right across the alley from the red line Da'an Park Stop and right across the street from the Daan Forest Park. Best breakfast buffet with small variations each day 24/7 Snack and drink bar with instant ramen is a plus Fun game and prizes 🙂 Kind staff. We would stay again!

We had a great time!

this hotel punched way above its weight. Me and my friends thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The rooms were cozy and clean (and the windows opened for a fresh breeze on the second floor!) Loved the extra amenities including free skewers on the main floor for the new year - they put out hot brewed tea/coffee and snacks normally as well. The buffet was delicious and changed a little day to day, the coffee jelly is not to miss. We got a nice gift box of cookies on checkout due to the new year; there was also pachinko with prizes in the lobby! I think by virtue of being a smaller hotel chain, they care more about their individual customers. Theres a great mom and pop danbing breakfast place across the street (tip: grab a to-go menu and use translate because they don't speak english). Easy access to the red line as well as the subway is right there across the small alley street. Had a great time!

Staff was excellent. Free laundry was very convenient for our longer stay, although the machines were a bit slow. No facecloths provided, just hand towels and bath towels. No heating in room, though this is probably only a problem in the few cold months. We managed (with the advice of the staff) by turning off the fan and reducing the amount of time the window was open. The rooms and facilities were very clean and well-maintained. Breakfast was great, with many western and eastern options. Location is five-star. Right across the street from Da'an Park and close to many great small restaurants and shops.

Overall the stay was ok. The property is old and the rooms are small. The location is great, right on an MRT station. The staff were very friendly and the breakfast was fine. We stayed on New Year’s Eve so true choices were limited. It wasn’t great value but the location was good.

This hotel is located in a convenient location, adjacent to a park and a subway station. The room is not big. The breakfast was quite enjoyable. There was a pipe noise at night near my room. The construction noise and mess was definitely present.

This place had great staff. They were all friendly and welcoming every time we passed by the lobby. Most of them spoke Chinese and English so I didn't have to worry too much about my broken Chinese. We had to break our trip up into 2 parts because we were spending a day in Taichung and they held our groceries for us until we got back. The rooms were very nice and clean. The location is excellent. There's a great park across the street that we took our 2 year old daughter to every day. It's right next to the MRT station. If I ever need to find a hotel in this area, I'll definitely be returning to Dandy Hotel!

conveniently located hotel at the doorstep of daan park station exit 1. minimalist theme with a great breakfast buffet and plus point is that it also caters to vegetarians. no complaints about the hotel. love the free laundry service.
