The property was excellent. The staff were really helpful, Vicky on reception helped us with anything we needed. The room was spacious and comfortable. The hotel was close to attractions and public transport. If we come back to Taiwan one day we will definitely stay here again!

Reservation desk is on the 11th flr. Which was a first when checking in. Staff were very courteous and professional. Breakfast is offered with a variety of choices (try the warm soy milk) Overall it was a good experience staying here.

I was told that a lot of hotels (unless it is a hotel chain will be shared building space with either office or residential.) As a Canadian, you should keep this in mind. This hotel is ok when you really need to stay in Taipei and don't want to break the bank. But my advice is to get accommodations outside of Taipei. Tai Chung is so much more modern and affordable, and it's just a few stations away by Taiwan HSR (high speed rail)
