Better than I expected

I figured it was going to be another overpriced stay in minimal comfort but I was pleasantly surprised. The rooms were very quiet. The beds comfortable. I slept fine which is unusual for me in a hotel. Staff was friendly and efficient. My only complaint was the vague smell of cigarette smoke from some long ago guest -- almost, but not quite, covered up by air freshener.

We liked the renovations which were needed. Hopefully, the restaurant will open again. The carpet in the hallway on the second floor had more padding than we're accustomed to. Kind of like walking on sand. Refrigerator didn't work. Floor made your feet dirty. Spiderwebs and dirty screens in the window.

I loved staying with Tillamook Inn. Everyone was so lovely and helpful. It was my family’s and I first time visiting and I would definitely stay with them again.

They called me the day of my trip and said that they overbooked the room and that I couldn't stay there. I had to book another place instead. I asked about getting my money back and they said they gave Expedia the money back already. So I am waiting for my refund.
