This apartment is on the second floor of a historic 1840 building located right in the center of the village, the first floor houses an independent bookstore called The Yellow House. The second floor is your private apartment - this cozy space features 1 bedroom with a comfortable queen bed, a full bathroom, and convenient amenities like laundry, WiFi, a large kitchen, and AC/heat. Check out our independent bookstore on the first floor and enjoy the big backyard! It is a perfect place to start a farm coast adventure - you are right in the center of the village so you can stroll to the cafe, restaurant, and shops and still walk or bike to the local beaches and forests!

This historic property is delightful in every way. The apartment itself is in pristine condition, has artistic touches and a minimalist feel. I especially liked the gleaming, wide board pine floors and many windows. The bed and other furnishings are very comfortable. The owners are close by, kind and full of helpful tips. The bookstore downstairs was an initial attraction and is truly a treat for the serious reader. Both a cafe and grille are right across the street. We stayed two nights for a wedding in Middletown (near Newport). The easy 23 minute drive over and back was worth the extra travel time over a property closer to the wedding venue as this space is very special.
