My second stay at the Tosei Cocone Okachimachi as a solo visitor. Wonderfully located for dining, shops and transport. Typically (for Japanese) small room had all I needed. A very comfortable 8 night stay. Interactions with front desk and cleaning staff were friendly and pleasant. Would stay again.

The property/room were clean, staff were friendly/helpful and the location was great. We had a large king room but it felt small as we could only open 1 large suitcase at a time. The laundry room only had 2 low capacity machines so it would be better if there were more machines or switch to machines with higher capacity so clothes can dry faster.

They turn off the cool air function in the air conditioning system because of winter. Room temperature is rising to 26.8 degree Celsius. They refuse to open the window. No one can breath without circulating air. I hope they will improve that.

The location is great quiet and safe. Service of the front desk is wonderful , room itself is small especially the washroom is tough for someone more than 5’11. There is a coffee shop downstairs (very nice) and convenience store around the corner. There are two metro stations nearby 5 mins walk.

The location is great, which was one of the reasons we chose this hotel. The room size is pretty standard for Japan, but felt very cozy and it was very clean, it had everything we needed. The staff was very kind and helpful, especially when we needed to ship our luggage to Kyoto, they took care of everything for us. 100% recommend.

Rooms too small to even open a bag. No common areas for the hotel making just a bed in the room. Aircon was poor and we kept on waiting for it to get cold. More expensive than other hotels I stayed during the visit making it absolutely LOW on value for money.
