This spacious cabin is located in Townsend, the Peaceful Side of the Smokies, and is a part of the Laurel Valley gated community. This well-kept community is home to The Wild Laurel Golf Course, where you can enjoy the amenities including a swimming pool with mountain views, a gym, a sauna, an 18-hole golf course, and an on-site tavern.

This updated cabin in the Great Smoky Mountains sleeps up to 12 people and is the perfect getaway for the whole family.

About Ridge View Cabin

Upon entering Ridge View Cabin, you will enter into a spacious living area with vaulted ceilings, a sleeper sofa, a Smart TV, and a gas fireplace. Stay cozy by the fireplace on chill Smoky Mountain evenings while you stream your favorite movies and shows from the Smart TV.

As you continue through the open concept living area, you will find the dining area and updated kitchen.The large kitchen is complete with granite countertops, updated appliances, and a coffee bar to enjoy each morning. The dining area is the perfect spot to enjoy a home cooked meal and features stunning mountain views.

There is access to a patio through a sliding door in the dining area. This area is complete with a gas grill to create an amazing meal and rockers to relax in as you enjoy the view. There is also access to a screened in porch through a door on this porch. The screened in porch has a fire pit that is perfect for staying warm while enjoying the view.

Just past the kitchen, you will find the main level bedroom and the main level bathroom. This bedroom has a queen bed, and the spacious bathroom has a tub/shower combo.

Head upstairs and you will find a loft with mountain views, multiple games, and a bunk bed. This loft area has plenty of games to choose from including board games, foosball, and an arcade game. This area has a Smart TV to stream your favorite shows and movies. This loft also has access to a porch with beautiful Smoky Mountain Views.

You will also find an additional bedroom and bathroom located through doors in the loft. The bedroom has a queen bed, and has ensuite bathroom access. This bathroom is complete with a jetted tub with mountain views.

As you head down to the bottom floor, and you will find a double bed to the right. This sleeping area is complete with a gas fireplace for chilly nights and mornings.

Through a door in this sleeping area, you will find a king bedroom. This bedroom has access to a private porch with stunning Smoky Mountain views.

There is a bathroom located on the bottom floor that has a jetted tub. There is also laundry access on the bottom floor.

You will have access to the community clubhouse, gym and an on-site tavern with amazing views of The Smokies. The community swimming pool is open from Memorial Day weekend through Labor Day weekend and requires a daily resort fee of $15 adults, $12 children. Food and beverages are available for purchase until at the tavern inside the Clubhouse. Feel free to treat yourself to a round of golf also! (Golf cart rentals and golf-related expenses will apply.)

We are not owned/managed by large rental companies. Josh, your host, is local to the area and strives to provide you and your family with a safe, clean, enjoyable place to make memories for years to come!

PLEASE NOTE: A $300 security deposit will be required in the form of a credit card hold. This hold is not a charge and will be refunded upon check out. This hold ensures no damages to the property will occur. We require this security deposit and a signed renter's agreement PRIOR to check-in.

Great location for this cozy home

This was our 5th time visiting Townsend and Josh’s cabin was a great choice ! We golf at the Wild Laurel course and it was just a short drive, easy to get to and a quiet neighborhood. The cabin is a great size. The views from the deck are beautiful. The screened in deck area with the fire feature was a great place to relax at night. Josh was super helpful when I had questions . We had a great stay!

Great stay!

Loved this place! Spacious, yet cozy. It was quiet and comfortable. We slept well and enjoyed our time here. Our favorite thing was to sit on the deck each evening and enjoy nature.

Peaceful and relaxing

We had a wonderful stay at Ridge View Cabin. The Cabin was beautiful, we loved sitting on the porch and looking at the mountains. We really enjoyed the whole community, the clubhouse and pool were a nice addition to our trip. We love the Townsend area and that part of the National Park. We will be back soon.

Slice of heaven

The cabin was cozy and clean and the view was amazing. Access to the pool was a big bonus and the kids loved it. We would stay here again in a heartbeat.

Beautiful views, clean and welcoming. Away from the busy tourist areas but close enough to visit Sevierville, Pigeon Forge and Gatlinburg. We loved our stay!!

Our family stayed a week in August, 2025. It's in a nice and quiet neighborhood with golf course and swimming pool. The view of mountains is great from the balcony. The cabin is large and clean. Some improvement would make it better, such as hot tubs and TV not working. Contacted owner for the above issues without a response. Overall we had a great time staying in the cabin.

Beautiful cabin, location and view

We loved this cabin. It met the needs of all 4 adults. They provided extras that you don't usually receive when renting a cabin and i appreciated that. We had one issue and it was fixed immediately. The location, view and cabin were great. We will rent this cabin again!!

Beautiful view of the mountains!

Our family very much enjoyed this cabin! Our number one favorite part was the beautiful views! We loved sitting out on the deck and watching the smoke on the mountains in the morning and after the rains! A close second was the game room! Our family spent. lot of time playing there! We needed to contact Josh a few times with some questions, and each time he was very responsive.

Ridge View Cabin

This was the perfect cabin for our family and we enjoyed the amazing view from our balconies. We had plenty of room for everyone to spread out when needed or to be together playing games/cards/puzzles in the living room/dining room area. The foosball table and Pac-Man machine were also big hits too. We absolutely loved the screened in porch with the fire table! We could not have been more pleased with the cabin and location. We were away from the craziness of the big towns, but close enough to visit the things that we really wanted to do. Josh was a tremendous help to us throughout the entire process. He gave us wonderful recommendations for dinner and immediately came to light the pilot light on the fire place to get it and the fire table going. Josh’s communication was great and very timely! We will definitely stay at this place again!

Great View

My husband myself his sister and brother in law all met in Townsend and this VRBO this past week. Here is my review: Location:….. in gated community which you are given a code to access. We only had to use once since guest and owner’s gates were open. They close after 8pm. If you get there after dark it is kind of hard to see street signs but gps should help you. The house is set up in 3 stories. Main floor when you walk in with living, dining kitchen and a queen bedroom with full bathroom with huge jacuzzis tub, shower that opens two ways from bedroom and kitchen area. Main floor also offers two decks, one screened in, one that has 2 rockers and gas grill. This also has a Beautiful view. Upstairs: 1 queen bed, bathroom with huge jacuzzi tub , sink but NO shower. Upstairs also offers futon, 2 bunk beds, foos ball table, Pac-Man full size video game. Downstairs: offers king bedroom, bathroom with huge jacuzzi tub, very TINY shower, In separate area there is another queen bedroom not in closed, down the hall is a laundry room. This is a very nice, clean unit. Just be aware that if you have some disabilities going up and down stairs it could be a problem. Beds are very comfortable. Thermostats are great. One on main floor the other downstairs. It would be nice to have instructions for tv. We brought our own food. Townsend restaurants close up around 8. Steak and Trout Restaurant is very busy and either go early or try to make reservations. Nice IGA grocery store.
