We had such a wonderful stay! The location and home were absolutely beautiful—spacious, clean, and perfect for our family. The beds were so comfortable, and it truly felt like a home away from home. The hosts thought of everything, from having two types of coffee makers to beach toys and even an extra pack and play and high chair for the little ones. Every detail was carefully considered, which made our stay so easy and enjoyable. We can’t wait to come back!

Perfect sized vacation home in an ideal location right on the beach! Plenty of beds and amenities included at the home and only a short drive to downtown traverse city or various resorts in the area. Communication and check in was a breeze and would definitely stay again

We had a wonderful trip to Traverse City, but we were disappointed with the house we stayed at. We didn't feel that, over all, the house was clean. The common areas, specifically the kitchen and living room were not well cleaned. The furniture was soiled, which made those parts of the house uninviting. The state of the grill, and lack of anything to clean it with, left us without a grill to use. The basement felt damp, and smelled of mildew. However, all the beds were clean and very comfortable. The bathrooms were also clean. With more care, this would be a great place to stay.

 grandparents, children, and grandchildren. That part of the experience was 5 stars, but my issues with the unit would have been 3, which I will address with the host.

We stayed here for a long weekend with a large group. The bunk room in the basement fit a lot of people! The house was very comfortable and there was a ton of parking. The views were stunning, we just wish we would have had warmer weather to enjoy it

Location and rooms perfect for our multi-generation group. Problems: too few forks, 3 of 4 trash bins completely full upon arrival, too few dishwasher pods, chairs in dining room need felt on the bottom (super noisy in the lower level when being moved), front storm door very squeaky/bangy especially when people are sleeping. Otherwise - great! Thank you!

Outstanding and unique

This is an outstanding and unique house and a lovely location, perfect for the 10 adults in our family from three states who vacationed there. The description of the house is correct and complete. We enjoyed it all: the upper and lower decks facing the beach, the porch, the open kitchen/dining area and the a/c. The bunk room has three double/single bunk beds plus a sofa bed. The house feels secluded down a long tree lined driveway. On the road, a few steps from the driveway, is a stop for the free bus to town. The hosts were especially responsive both before and during our stay. We highly recommend this listing.

Great beach house for family fun

Great location right on the water and short distance to downtown Traverse City. Property has lots of space and beds for family gatherings like ours. Property management was responsive to our few requests and questions upon arrival.

One-of-a kind stay in Traverse City!

We had 7 adults and 4 kids under the age of 7 and the house was very accommodating. There were more amenities than we expected (beach toys, beach umbrella and greatly appreciated enough coffee for the week! Some guests felt it was too hot especially in bedrooms at night and wished they had the option of opening windows (no screens). Private beach is priceless! The entire house had nice modern cottage feel but the basement with all the bunk beds was certainly a highlight. More walkable area than we expected. Overall a wonderful experience.

Amazing!

My friends and I had a wonderful time at this property! It is so nice to have beachfront access and all of the rooms and spaces in the house were super appealing and clean and enjoyable! A great place to bring your friends or family as there is lots of space to spread out and lots of sleeping areas. We had so much fun and really enjoyed all of the amenities! It is on a busy street, but it is tucked away down the driveway, so it is perfect! Five stars!

Beautiful location

This is a beautiful home and we had the best time. Plenty of room and nice and clean. Only down fall on the trip was that when we booked this the listing showed as the house being more in the downtown area and the house is actually a 5-7 minute drive to downtown. Other than that great place to stay.

Amazing property

This property is in the heart of it all on the bay. You basically have your own private beach . Walking distance to restaurants, put put and grocery store. Perfect for an extended family get together with a room of bunks for all the children . I was hesitant to even review this because I want to stay here again and gate keep this awesome place to myself . Ten stars!

Awesome location in TC

We had a wonderful stay at East Bay Escape. Overall rating is a 5, but I rated the cleanliness as a 4 due to a pretty grimey shower curtain. Communication with the rental company was very easy and Troy was quick to respond. (Of note, he said housekeeping would take care of the shower curtain). The views and location are outstanding. This makes for a perfect getaway with friends/family in the Traverse City area.

The location was unbeatable. There were plenty of beds for a large group. While there are only two showers, we were able to manage with 14 people. The only downfall is that after a night of rain, the entire house had a musty odor. There were also quite a few bugs inside the house on the main floor and in the basement bathroom.

Great Trip to Traverse City!

We just got back from a long weekend in Traverse City. The house was great all around. Great location, great setup, and plenty of room for our group of 9, as we could have fit more. We requested an early check-in, and the hosts were very accommodating to our request. We did not need anything additional from them on the rest of the trip, but they reached out to make sure that everything was going well, so we would have felt comfortable letting them know if there was anything that we did need! Would rent this location again for a future trip!
