Another great stay at Tamarack Lodge. The staff are awesome. There were some noisy adolescents with less than adequate parental supervision staying in the building, we reported it to the desk staff, and they spoke to the parents and took care of it. Maintenance is great. We had a tub stopper that wasn't functioning properly, maintenance came and replaced it the same day.

This was our first time at Tamarack Lodge in Traverse City. My husband and I came up for wine touring. We were greeted by Jessica and the lodge was very cozy and welcoming with the snow outside. She gave us an upgrade to a 2 BR suite with a bay view. She also provided helpful information for the lodge as well as the surrounding area. The lodge was spacious, very clean and cozy. We loved the location, the assigned parking and the friendly staff. The bar was fun Saturday night during an NFL football game. We can’t wait to return this summer with kids and grandkids! Also, the price was a steal, even without the unexpected upgrade!

Disappointing stay.

Booked what was called a corner suite. The room is actually on the side of the hotel. I was also placed on the ground floor which I was looking at a construction site out the side window. I went back to the front desk and asked for a different room but was told nothing available. Also asked to be moved for the second night but was never given a response by front desk. This was our third stay and will be back. Just won’t book the “corner suite” again.
