Comfortably sleeping up to seven guests, this classic coastal retreat is perfectly situated just four houses from the shore on one of the island’s best beach access streets, offering easy access to the Atlantic Ocean.

Good location on island but needs some TLC

I wish I could give and overall rating of 5 stars but property needs some minor repairs and updating. One bed definitely needs to be replaced - major sag in the middle. Otherwise, the cottage was comfortable & clean. I informed the rental office and there were receptive to my observations/suggestions. The primary reason for our visit was to see Savannah so we didn't spend lots of time at rental; however, it was adequate for our needs.

The inside was quite outdated with several amenities not in working order

The location was perfect, in relation to the beach(a stone's throw), and restaurants. The property itself was another story. Everything was outdated from the size of the tv to the non-working stove to the linens. The caterpillars were a little ridiculous and excessive, to the point where it felt like they were living with us. There was an additional "sunroom" off the living room that wasn't temperature controlled and seemed like wasted space. You couldn't spend time in it with the exception of coming in from the beach and leaving your towels, floats, etc. on the way in to the home. It was apparent the owner was trying to save money in many aspects of the home and it showed. Bathrooms were fairly small and cramped, especially for a "master bath." I wouldn't recommend it and you could probably find a better deal just as close to the beach for a bit more(or even less) money. I'd recommend to continue looking for another property.
